The fact that went uncalled still pisses me off, that was a predatory illegal hit, if Sherwood milks it and stays down and goes to the locker room, it's potentially a 5 minute call, instead we got nothing.

The NHL is headed down a dangerous path by factoring in the result of the hits so heavily. I think you'll see embellishment continue to rise because of it.

If Sherwood hadn't bee such a burr under the saddle of the Canucks in last year's first round series with the Preds, I wonder if Allvin would have signed him.

But at $1.5m for this season and next, his contract is shaping up as the 'bargain of the year' in the NHL.
