Murray sucked againWhat the actual f***?

I like that we added a RH shot and I think Kapanen actually plays a more physical and pesty game. Hopefully he can develop it more here. I could see him potentially being what people think Tanev provides in the top six.
I'm just afraid for the rebuild in 2-3 years it's gonna be a long one
Personally, I also think everyone including myself is upset about the 1st being included because we have this impression it COULD turn into a Barzal or Karlsson. But there's a much higher chance that it won't. Also if the following is true then I get why we traded Hallander
lol... Pens fans and journos are so super obsessed with skating. It just strikes me as parroting.
This is literally the first I've heard of Hallander's skating being a legit problem. Seems convenient.
sarcasm is usually meant to be funnyJunior that is called Sarcasm/ Look it up
a Cornerstone Franchise player ?If you ignore the fact that we dealt our best pick in a decade, which could've potentially turned into a franchise cornerstone player for the next 15 years, in addition to one of our best prospects, I guess it's cool that we landed a young, speedy RW with a RH shot. He may or may not work well on Sid's wing, but A. he's not Simon or Sheary, and B. he'll be a great 3rd liner if he doesn't work on Sid's wing.
But, you've gotta ignore that f***ing absurd payment. That's important. Ignore it.
Zucker has multiple years on his deal and Pageau was a trade and sign.
Frankly, I think being 7th in the league is misleading.

UMMMM No I am probably old enough to be your Dad or Grandadsarcasm is usually meant to be funny
nobody's laughing but you because you're just Fortnite default dancing at everyone for thinking this trade isn't the best ever
If he can be a guy who really helps drive the bus on the 3rd line, that'd be cool, that might make it worthwhile, but Patric Hornqvist is there. And I doubt Hornqvist is getting moved up to the top 6.
I dunno. Wait and see I guess. I can see your argument but as you say, it's quite a price.
Kapanen doesn't change ought - we're going 7-3 with Letang, Dumo and Pettersson protected (with Marino exempt) already.
I'd say they have 2-3 years left then Malkin will either be traded or go to the KHL. in two years Crosby will be 35 and Malkin 36. The prime years are gonna and better to just star the rebuild. The plan all along should have been a tear down rebuild after Crosby and Malkin leave. There was no way this organization would be able to survive losing those two.
They have 5 years left of Crosby and Malkin, I'd like to see them maximize those years.
This is pretty similar to the JT Miller trade. Now, granted, Miller cost more... but Miller or Kapanen?
What if Poulin is too impressive in camp to send down? where do we put him? feels like we have so many wingers.

I think the Kapanen acquisition means McCann is on the outs. I can't see how they can afford to pay McCann now that their top-6 is set.
Hopefully we move out one of Hornqvist or McCann at this point.
