And Juulsen, Brook, Fleury on the Right side. It’s weird going from a strength to a weakness in the long term. Counting chickens I know...Struble

Someone was practising as a first pairing LD on Team Canada. Doesn’t mean he’ll stay there but it’s nice to see:
That's just a ridiculous description of Canada's line-up. If someone posted Chirarot-Weber as the Habs 3rd pairing, it wouldn't make it true. The n.1 pairing is obviously Byram-Drysdale, there's no dispute arguments to be made about it.
Playing against top lines, Guhle-Barron should still have a solid 20 minutes a game. I can't wait to watch how Guhle handles high-pressure situations. Being in the spot he is at 18, is not a small task.
I want to see him rush the puck a bit, doesn’t do it often, but when he has it’s been impressive.
Personally I have more faith in Guhle offensive game then Romanov offensive gameHe needs to show me that he's improved his ability to contribute to offense outside of a first pass (which is spotty) and his shot. Romanov showed us in two WJCs that he had the ability to do more.

For those who can't watch, I took some notes on his shifts over a beer... probably not doing it for the rest of the game. Less fun than I thought.
1- (PK) Took his man as well as himself for a second at the blueline via hit, then got back and delivered the zone clear. Was called "Perfetti" (#11) by TSN.
2- Nothing shift, Russians were denied entry then tried again and went offside.
3- His 1st pass led to a broken transition play, but then on the counter-attack by the Russians he neutralized his man in the slot very effectively.
4- (PK) 10 second shift, was patrolling the front of the net.
5- (4-on-4) Boxed his man out when that guy received a pass, Guhle plastered him on the board a bit and made the outlet pass.
6- (4-on-4) Followed the puck carrier trying to push him to the perimeter, puck carrier's pass was intercepted.
7- OZS. Got the puck, passed it to Perfetti then play was broken.
8- OZS. Canada loses the puck then after a brief turnover, Guhle has his outlet pass intercepted. He comes back to the front of the net and ties a player cutting into the slot just before the puck gets there.
9- Short 10 second shift at the end, took the FO on the right side and came back to the front of the net (his office).
overall thoughts?
