A much better game played tonight but not sold on his offensive potential yet. I really wanna see more. Its probably best he models his offense towards that of Weber tbh.

I was impressed by his assertiveness. He does trend to let the playcometo him. He steps up aggressively in a quite effective way in what I have seen so far. I look forward to following him in the next few years.

Doesnt matter. Hes mid first not a late first. If he provides no offense he shouldn't have been drafted that high. He would be a late first or even 2nd.

They were looking for D, he was the best of what was left according to Lord Timmins.

No, but the offensive part of the game is pretty much the only question mark in his game. From what i have seen in this tournament and its got nothing to do with his 2 goals, there’s potential for growth there, the kid got some skills and willingness to get involve offensively.
He's a better skating version of Weber out there.

Ur missing thr point. If we needed just defense we already had that in plenty in our cupboard or could have drafted a D in the second. What we needed in Guhle is a two way D with amazing D (which is what hes trending) and good offense (which imo he has untapped potential there). I just wanna see more offensively. That's all.

Says the guy getting miffed that people were counting his assist and players stats after the game. Jeez what is it man? He’s doing very well for points considering ice time and no pp.

Lol the point went well about you head. Smh. It's not about the points dude. It's about generating offense is what I wanna see.

So bank pass off the boards to a guy in neutral zone facing an empty net isn’t generating offense?

Without getting too involved into the pissing match - Legend wants to see more out there from Guhle offensively while McGee thought he played well... it’s worth noting that Guhle was on the ice to defend in the end and drove the puck out, doing great defensive work which caused the empty net goal. In a 2-0 game that’s not nothing haha.

Guhle is caught behind the phenom Byram who’s eating up all the minutes in every situation, and Harley (who’s older). He anchors his pair and has been steady if not spectacular all tournament. I’d like to see more from him offensively as well, but given his role, and his minutes, it’s hard to find much wrong with his game (other than looking rusty against Finland). He plays hard and makes the opponent pay the price. I think with time, his offensive game develops nicely. He has a big shot and gets it off quickly and accurately.

Its nice to have such a well rounded prospect with talent, size, speed and nastiness in the system.

i don't think that's 100% correct, i believe they said they didn't think Guhle wouldn't be there at their pick so they had to take him.
could be, I'm confused on their drafting policies these days to be honest.
