Exactly , right on cue , I said Monday or Tuesday , now it will be at least another week before the third party has heard the case and rules so he's likely out at least until game 5 which is the 7th game of the suspension . If it's a sweep he will be heard before the third round and be back for that .

Yes thats why the delay from Buttman , the arbitrator has reduced pretty much every case he's heard . Playoff games are supposed to be considered double time as well so it's expected it will be reduced to 4 or 5 thats why Buttman played the calendar to keep him out at least 7 .

He's already missed 3 games, and will miss game 2 this series. Wouldn't be shocked to see him back as early as game 4 if his suspension is reduced to 5 games.

I presume they meant the 20 game suspension reduced to 15.

I personally don't recall a case where Buttman didn't uphold the DOPS ruling , it's more of a stall tactic than an actual appeal .

No I think Kadri had 48 hours to file his request the arbitrator will be allowed to take the time needed to hear both parties , you should expect Buttman to be too busy for at least a couple of days .

Like @SirLoinOfCloth said, I was referring to Wilson's 2018 incident in which he was suspended 20 games and then was reduced to 14. By the time the arbiter had completed his work Wilson had already served more than 14 games.
