Buttman will stall until Monday or Tuesday then the 3rd party will schedule and wait 2 days to announce by then it will have been at least 5 games probably 6 already . If they sweep Vegas he will be back for the third round .

No he has to schedule his own hearing to hear both parties after one party {obviously Kadri's group} requests he rule on the matter , just as Buttman took 4 days after the deadline for Kadri to decide to appeal the 3rd party could take a week before hearing this . in the past a player served a full 16 game suspension before having it reduced gaining him a refund on the wages lost to the league .

It's even possible Kadri will have served his 8 games only to see it reduced to whatever and gain nothing out of it because players aren't paid any salary in the post season .This is the dirty shyte I am expecting from the league as you will notice Buttman didn't release his decision .

Yep same type of play. I agree, I think we have to root for no suspension here.

That one is actually much worse , thats a full fly by but Kadri turned his shoulder away to try and avoid that kind of contact .

Kadri is always punished more than other players. Yeah you can say “repeat offender” but if you don’t punish another player in the first place, he will also never be a repeater...

Very similar but.this looks nastier. The whole contact seems to be on head.

Again, NHL has no clear line when it comes to these suspensions. They seem to think Kadri is the worlds worst offender while Reaves and Wilson's of the world run without any suspension for their action. What a messed up place NHL is.

to be fair, Bettman almost couldn’t lower the suspension after all the debate about Parros. He was probably hoping there would not occur any new incidents, but after Petry, Reaves against the Wild, and also Vegas yesterday it is one big circus, so might as well announce this now.

probably better to be consistent in the first place (basically all we ask for), but I won’t hold my breath they have learned this lesson yet

I agree. I was telling my buddy that it was no penalty. It was not a late hit. I have seen way worse. The one-second rule.
