Jeeeesus. This is gonna get traction and I wouldn’t be shocked if he appeals and gets a game or two knocked off just to avoid any of these conspiracies. In saying that, the NHL may also just stand tall since if they give in and change it it may look like this is what sparked it.
It appears. The unfortunate part is that nobody (likely) even had a thought cross their mind about the colour of Kadri’s skin color yet Aliu who is this big advocate of racism is the one who makes it about race.Wait. Are some people and not just trolls insinuating that race is a factor here?
Oh boy. I really hope this doesn't gain traction. It appears. The unfortunate part is that nobody (likely) even had a thought cross their mind about the colour of Kadri’s skin color yet Aliu who is this big advocate of racism is the one who makes it about race.

Why wouldn’t that be something questioned
Because that's f***ing dumb, that's why.
I really don't think it played any role. An extra 3 games after getting 5 on his last one doesn't scream "extreme" to me. I'm starting to feel this is becoming more about Wilson than Kadri. No it’s not. Next.
[EDIT]
I don’t think it’s *the* reason, but I wouldn’t be surprised that deep down it played a role (albeit small). I think this is Parros wanting to make up for his dumbass decision on Wilson
Maybe it’s because I grew up f***ing normal where the color of somebody’s skin literally has nothing to do with anything in life but I just can’t fathom how somebody could even consider that when making a decision like this. The last year and a half has really opened my eyes to how backward ass some parts of the world is with racism but my head just doesn’t factor skin colour into any decision and that leads me to not consider it’s part of other peoples decision making as well. Why wouldn’t that be something questioned when Wilson got a 5k fine, Bennett got a lesser sentence, Orlov wasn’t even called, Kolesar got nothing, etc.
It’s going to be natural to wonder if there was something underlying on that...especially considering the lack of anything toward Wilson.

Not sure picking a black guy as an example is the best approach hereWhy wouldn’t that be something questioned when Wilson got a 5k fine, Bennett got a lesser sentence, Orlov wasn’t even called, Kolesar got nothing, etc.

It’s not even a make up call. Kadri’s last suspension was 5 games. Now as a repeat offender he got 8. It’s text book.Race never crossed my mind I think if anything it’s a make up call for the Tom Wilson thing. I’ll take anything at this point to get it reduced.
