Any update at all on the exact injury?
Gonna need to start google translating some finnish sites

Depends when. Scoring is LOWER right now than in some eras. But if you mean from what they call the “dead puck era” of low scoring the difference is probably about 13% so the past era player‘s 50 points is like 56-57 now…. It’s not a giant difference. Even if scoring was up by 20% that would be a revised point total of 60… which is also not totally out of the question for KK.One thing to note for those saying he could be a 50pt player with elite defense and comparing him to 50pt players of past eras… a 50pt player today isn’t what a 50pt player was years ago.
He and Fil are catching up on ping pong and watching Balls of Fury and cracking up and generally having a good time
Your best work...
Blais had also been reportedly traveling around with the team. Even if it's true.Obviously, take this with a grain of salt considering the source. But a poster at the Finnish equivalent of HFBoards said he was at MSG for the game against Sharks, and saw Kakko walking with crutches (thus, didn't bother him for a selfie). Which I guess is pretty much not that spectacular info, the injury looked bad.
Maybe it's the ghost of Blais, following what should have been the player traded to us.Blais had also been reportedly traveling around with the team. Even if it's true.
Scoring in the 50s with high end defense isn’t close? Feel like Stone is usually mid-low 60s and has never actually won the Selke, he’s just at that level. It is????
Stone is a PPG player that can’t stay healthy for a full season.Scoring in the 50s with high end defense isn’t close? Feel like Stone is usually mid-low 60s and has never actually won the Selke, he’s just at that level.
Right. Stone is usually somewhere in the 60's and plays games somewhere in the 60's.Stone is a PPG player that can’t stay healthy for a full season.
Fair enough.Right. Stone is usually somewhere in the 60's and plays games somewhere in the 60's.
Kakko played like 15 games there and did f*** all (neither did Mika and Kreider).Funny Lavy finally give someone besides Wheeler a spot on 1st line AFTER Kakko gets injured. Ridiculous.
The line as a whole was dominating play and one of the top lines in the league in that department. Results would've come. Throwing Wheeler up there instead of believing in the process above results and the long-term benefit of Kakko developing was a ridiculously stupid move.Kakko played like 15 games there and did f*** all (neither did Mika and Kreider).
That's all fine and dandy but it's becoming a long-term pattern that whatever line Kakko is on can't score somehow.
Enough with the stats. Our first line might be our worst lineThe line as a whole was dominating play and one of the top lines in the league in that department. Results would've come. Mika was playing like ass to start the season. He has been better of late. That's all fine and dandy but it's becoming a long-term pattern that whatever line Kakko is on can't score somehow.
It's probably casual that shots are hitting the net with Wheeler there, not correlational. And Wheeler sucks.

We're talking about Kreider and Zibanejad. Kakko couldn't score on that line last year either. Everyone else does. Wheeler and Brodzinski both have more points than Kakko splitting time with that line.Because he’s usually in bottom 6 with benders
Sample sizzle. They also drove play to a fantastic degree last year, too. Considering the rangers are a very average 5v5 team by the numbers, that should be highly valued. We're talking about Kreider and Zibanejad. Kakko couldn't score on that line last year either. Nichushkin scores points in the NHL. He's close to a PPG player in his last 82 games.Sample sizzle. They also drove play to a fantastic degree last year, too. Considering the rangers are a very average 5v5 team by them numbers, that should be highly valued.
I compare him to Valerie Nuchushkin.
