I do not buy this offensive hockey sense. Most of his time in NHL has not had good center in his line. He is good offensive player and was known from it in his early career. He has quite many goals by individual effort. In Jets he was buried in fourth line but some of his goals were amazing.I like Armia for what he is.
But I do see a big hole in his game: offensive hockey sense. Still a very good two way bottom sixer. But too often he kills his line's offense.
If he (and Lehkonen) are on your 4th line because you've got 6 wingers better than them in the top 9, then you've got some serious depth - depth that could potentially compete with any forward corps, even without elite talent.
In Montreal he has given opportunity also in offensive end. He has only developed and outbreak is there, I know. It would be good thing for Monreal.
Next season is crucial and think Bergevin has problem what do with him. He made two very bad contracts with Anderson and Gally. Think Armia is gone after the season. Bergevin cant have afford
