I like Armia for what he is.

But I do see a big hole in his game: offensive hockey sense. Still a very good two way bottom sixer. But too often he kills his line's offense.

If he (and Lehkonen) are on your 4th line because you've got 6 wingers better than them in the top 9, then you've got some serious depth - depth that could potentially compete with any forward corps, even without elite talent.
I do not buy this offensive hockey sense. Most of his time in NHL has not had good center in his line. He is good offensive player and was known from it in his early career. He has quite many goals by individual effort. In Jets he was buried in fourth line but some of his goals were amazing.

In Montreal he has given opportunity also in offensive end. He has only developed and outbreak is there, I know. It would be good thing for Monreal.
Next season is crucial and think Bergevin has problem what do with him. He made two very bad contracts with Anderson and Gally. Think Armia is gone after the season. Bergevin cant have afford

He's 27. At some point he's got to put up the points and not say all his coaches were biased against him and not giving him the right linemates.

The covid and cap situation will have a lot to do with his salary. If the cap doesn't go up again, there will only be so much money in the system. Look at Haula and Granlund this year. Two players that have put up better offensive numbers than Armia, yet are unsigned.

Every team would take Armia. I see Montreal cant afford him, because of 3 very bad contracts. You are also right about Covid.

About these two Finns, they would be good, both can also play center.

He already put up the points, right when he started his prime years. Or isn't last season +20 goals +40 pts pace good enough ? Are you expecting 1st line production with second line minutes ?

guys. armia pure diamont. bad team headquarters at winnipeg not using him despite he carry whole 3rd and 4th line at winnipeg. he also doing perverted stuff at ice like holding pucks alone in midlands til teammates fully changed for next line and then he smooth himself go for bench. amazed at montreal he this seasons i see not playing big minites but stil doing it crazy tonight he put 2+2 to scoreboards jumbotrone and look at goals he makin fool of opponent and all this like playing looking very nonchalance but acrobatic like mecirtennis you know? this guys style and dominance at own perverted levesl at any league. this guy like owning games . di diamont for any team but only one there is!

sir avgard hockeyprofessor.

Very stupid dirty hit by Myers. Armia and his line mates were having amazing results.

Myers and Armia were teammates in Winnipeg not a long time ago.

Hopefully, it is not bad omen for the Habs who started to slump last year after an amazing game in Washington. Drouin was having his best start and got injured in that game.

Nothing confirmed. Byron might also not play. If I had to guess I'd say Perry will replace Armia. Frolik might come in for Byron.
They have to put Mete first in the line up and after, can recall player from their squad.
