Was just reading Brennan Othmann's thread (could not understand why it kept being on the main page for meh production), apparently some issues with teammates and a Flint fan pointed out how better players are playing with him traded.

Anyways, Kuzmin up to nearly PPG, 9p in his last 5 games (12 in his last 10), 26 in 27 total.

Dunno about you guys but I had no idea lol.

Looks like the KHL is having their All Star tournament this weekend. 4v4, 2x10 minute periods. Rashevsky had a goal and an assist in a 9-7 loss.

Wagner had 4 assists in the SHL U20 league today.

EDIT: Actually I miscounted, Wagner had 5 assists today. Team won 7-3.

That puts him at 19 points in 17 games in U20, and 0 in 17 in the SHL. I checked the boxscores for some of those games and his TOI was often 0:00 and when he does actually play it's not much so I wouldn't be too concerned about that.

Tuned into the second half of Rutger's game vs. Michigan State. He actually didn't play that much idk if that is because he reports to team USA tomorrow or what. It really is amazing how he was on the ice for prime chances, just one of those players that you aren't blown away with flash but somehow as you are watching you realize how many of the grade A chances are because of him. Grade A chances are rare in NCAA even for this Michigan team. He could have had 2 goals in the 30 minutes I watched, hit the post on one and just missed on the other. He had a really nice secondary assist holding the puck at the top of the zone in the middle of the ice. He waited for the trailer at the left point who had a beautiful seam pass that led to a goal. Most college kids would have not had the sense for that and just dumped the puck.

I have high hopes for him. The Jets could really use a player who plays his style.

I have calmed down allot on prospects since 2011. I was really excited about Perfetti on draft day and not much has changed for me on him.

The only other player that I am “really” excited about is McGroarty. I think his game will translate very to the NHL at some point.

Usually our GM keeps his emotions in check, but when he drafted Perfetti I don't think I have seen him happier outside of maybe, and its a maybe, the day he acquired Paul Stastny at the 2018 deadline.

It was a big win. Perfetti had been in the top 5 of some of the lists I follow. Honestly I couldn’t believe he fell to us but the group of 4-11 or 12 was a tier that could have gone any direction. Cole’s skating and size allowed him to drop to us and that was one from the draft gods. On draft day I did say Perfetti would be better than Byfield.

Yeah I had him ranked 4th on my list behind Laf, Stutzle and Drysdale.

Now I'd only take Stutzle ahead of him and I still think Drysdale is going to be a great NHL dmen.

Hmm. Somewhere in the 5 to 10 range. I think he's been better than people are giving him credit for but still not what you'd want out of a lottery pick.
I wonder how things may have gone for him had he not ended up in an organization so notoriously awful at developing forwards.
