Prospect Info: Jets Prospects

Stan had a few mistakes last night but every player, especially D men, is going to make mistakes.
I thought he handled himself well.
I REALLY liked Schenn's game last night.
Tanev is such a shit disturber...we needed someone like him. Not a big guy but doesn't back down from anyone and stands up for his team mates.
Helle only lets in one goal and doesn't make one of the three stars again...
Winning the Hart trophy will suit him just fine vs the random 3 star selections.......I assume.

Mark Hillier was almost orgasmic about Stanley's size in 16 and drafted KVes in 17. Sure looked like a size bias at the time. Since then it appears that he has learned to see past that bias, assuming he had that bias of course.
Hillier was the Thrashers OHL scout when they drafted 6'7" Boris Valabik, and 6'7" Cody Sol (both out of the OHL). Then he becomes head scout and the Jets draft 6'7" Stanley?

Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence, three times is enemy action! :sarcasm:

It was nice to see that Arniel must recognize that putting Stanley on his offside isn't doing anyone any favors, including Stanley himself

I thought that Fleury looked much better on the right than Stan does when he's played there

Every one of us has biases and blind spots. Fortunately, we can change but we will still have biases, just different ones. Hillier seems to have moderated his.

Seeing Carolina add Nikishin and Montreal add Demidov it would be nice if there was any indication whether Rashevsky had any intention of ever coming over. We really don't need him currently but adding a 24 year old RW who could be an interesting bottom 9 option would be nice for the playoffs. I think at next years camp especially if Nik leaves he could be an interesting option to have alongside Chibikrov and Lambert.

something about the way this guy speaks and his vibe reminds me of helle lol

I was wondering who he reminded me of when I was watching this video. You’re totally right!

Absolutely right. Now we just need the kid to start his HoF career already.

Have liked a lot of what I've seen of KW -- he has the brains to go with the tools and some his patience in playmaking and waiting for the right shot it Wheeleresque, minus that insane curling speed and edgework prime Blakr could unleash.

Watching Barron flourish of late gives me real belief in the abilities of some big men to grow eventually into their size and skills. KW is doing it early. Will be fun to watch him on the (less fun) Moose I expect.

I think Rashevsky comes over and makes the team before the playoffs begin.

Not this year, that's for sure. Can't integrate a new player into the line up at this point intbhe season unless they're a game breaker, and even then it's a gamble. KHL is a different style of game

It'll be interesting to see if Chevy can sign him this offseason since I believe he's without a contract now in the KHL

Hahahaha, didn't mean this year.

He is without a contract and made the comment, when he signed his last contract, that he wanted to come here ready to make the Jets.

A line like this could be a handful to control down the road.

Julien - Walton - Nehring

So if the Jets get their all important 1 point tomorrow, do they rest some players? Who do they call up? Lambert, Salo and Ford I imagine. Walton maybe? Is He with the Moose?
