I'm not worried about this game one bit. (I have lower/realistic expectations of the Jets though)

- Jets played as good as they ever do, they got caught on the PK twice, it happens.

- Peluso played hard, a bit to hard and might have to pay with some games, it happens, it wasn't a head hunter and no one was hurt.

- No pizzas Gifs were inspired(to bad).

- The coach is working with what he has and few players are out of the line up, and we would still be losing just as much because the players that are out don't break games wide open or inspire greatness.

The things that really should hurt as a fan.

- Your starting goalies Bobble Head night ended with a hook on HNIC; really should just let him take his lumps and fight through it. Normally agree with a pull any other night.

- One of your star rookies gets dumped over boards. In the future I hope he responds with a mean streak and is backed up by his teamates, this is worth taking 2 mins for.

Just listened to the Wheeler and Ladd interviews: I don't think I've heard more honest, frustrated player interviews before. Definitely didn't have the media shields up. Wow.

Hard to imagine that some sort of shake-up isn't in the works - combine those interviews with Chevy's reactions to those goals, and...

Anyway, it's too bad, because prior to that boneheaded play by Peluso we weren't playing half bad. Could have been ours. C'est la vie.

well that was definitely a Saturday afternoon Jets game! Yikes!

This team is in a full on free fall right now and I have to admit I've pretty much divorced myself of any emotional commitment I had at the start of the season. I'm just looking to see what happens now. Right now, I think the only players I'd really not want to lose would be Trouba, Bright Eyes, Little, and maybe Bogo.

I don't know if coaching is the root of the problem with this team, but it sure sounds to me like the players have lost faith in Noel and he sure sounds like he's run out of ideas in his pressers. I thought we were headed for a good outcome when we tired it up in the second there just before Peluso's gaff. I don't really blame Peluso though. I think he was just trying to do something to motivate the team. It wasn't that awful a hit. Couldn't have worked out worse in the end though...

We've gone from being the steakbusters the past two seasons to being the slump busters this year. Every other team that has a player or a line that's in a slump licks their lips at the prospect of facing the Jets.

There has been a remarkable and distinct lack of fun for us Jets fans this season and its not even half finished. Yeesh!

I may be in the minority in this one, but not a fan of Enstrom. Highest paid player on the Jets and he seems void of criticism. Like, you'd expect the highest paid player to take over some games. Be a leader. Be a difference maker. Score goals. Have grit. Something! The only positive I see out of him this season is he hasn't gotten injured. Could really use his cap space to get more depth at Forward.

Enstrom's contract is just another reason I'm in the fire Chevy crowd.

I don't know what was worse. Watching that game or the bottom of the barrel announcers CBC gives the Jets all the time. Glad I pvr'd it so I wouldn't have to watch the bum PJ Stock at intermission.

About those two bad line changes that resulted in two Dallas goals... what exactly happened there? Who bailed early or who was slow getting on the ice. Who are we blaming?

Got to go downstairs after the game and see some players, so that was pretty cool

But on to the game, I almost guarantee there will be change after this game. Chevys reaction, the players reactions, scream help us, we need change. It will be interesting to see what happens.

Anyone have the video of pelusos hit? I looked away when he hit him and they didn't show a replay at the game.

Meh, it was a hair late and Gologoski wasn't prepared at all...but it wasn't into his back, Peluso didn't leave his feet, didn't hit him high, didn't make principal contact with the head - Peluso just crushed him. 0 games. Well, it should be 0 games.

He may just get a fine. I say 0 games because lets be honest here, the NHL suspends based on injury and Goli stayed in the game.

The thought of Wright and Clone-Wright on a two-on-one just made my brain bleed...

Can just picture it

"and here comes the wrights on a 2 on 1, wright dishes it in the feet of wright who manages to recover, he shoot... Aaand that puck is out of play... It appears scheifele is also benched"

Or

"wright picks up the puck and flys in, it's a 2 on 1 going to wrong way... Wright undresses a surprised trouba drops it to wright who takes a one timer... Scores... The jets loose 3-2 in overtime"

You couldn't move Enstrom if you tried because he's overpaid by about $2M!

Hmmmm.... that was interesting.

Wheeler had a strong game again. I can accept his rant.

Ladd was absolutely listless today (I have to say it). I don't mind the occasional frustrating plays that he makes that result in blue-line turnovers, but I actually saw him dogging it tonight (slow to get out of the zone, lazy shift changes). I didn't see a leader taking charge tonight. I think that he might be demoralized and just completely frustrated with Noel (remember the blow-up between Ladd and Noel at practice a while back?). Something is wrong, and I think that Noel has lost the captain, and the room. Kane's talk-back about the "healthy scratch" might mean that players have been talking. You certainly don't hear too many players sticking up for the coach.

I won't be surprised if Noel goes before a trade happens.

Can we now agree that Thorbs is not really a suitable replacement for Kane on the second line? The only way he seemed the same was that he took a couple of unnecessary minor penalties. I can accept that occasionally from a fired up Kane, but I can't accept that from a 4th line plugger like Thorbs.

Scheifele showed some good signs tonight again, and I really like Frolik more and more.

Stuart is not up to NHL standards... sorry to say.

Pavs.... could we just get the occasional big save at an important time? I'm tired of saying "well that was a pretty tough shot to stop". Other goalies sprinkle in the occasional great save. It's what NHL goalies do. In any case, the first goal by Seguin just has to be stopped. Is Pavs the only goalie ever pulled on his very own Bobblehead Game?
