I agree. If your not going to make the playoffs may as well get someone good who is going to help you down the road. 1 thing we seem to be doing good at is drafting.

Not all of that was Pavs' fault, but again it comes back to how low your expectations are. No goalie in the league is going to save ALL of those chances that piled up but he just can't seem to make that one save that the team needs to stem the tide.
Love that Wheeler is fired up in his postgame because these last two games are literally the only two full efforts he's given all year. When he moves his feet the guy is a force... I hope he keeps channeling that frustration and imposing his will. We need him right now.

Their guys know how to agitate, our tough guys don't. At least Thor tried to mix things up, Peluso is a plug that can't even do his role right. #freeburmi to play with Scheif would be nice garrett.

The 5 minute major broke the team's back. Peluso is a bonehead and a liability on the ice. Why exactly does he dress for games, what does he add?
Our defensive coverage of opposing players in the center of the ice (slot) is just pathetic and comical.
This team doesn't have a lot of heart or pushback. After they went down 5-3, the team cashed out for the afternoon.
I think more than anything poor defensive play is sinking this team.

Losses like this must eat away at guys like Ladd.
Peluso's stupid penalty, brutal (I need a stronger word) defensive clearing and zone outlets, Pavelec's regression to mean goaltending all contributed to this loss, but that's not what's got me concerned. Why do only half a dozen or so different players show up each game? Like, right now, ooooh Wheeler's on fire! Great, but where are Little, Buff, Seto, and so forth? Why can't Noel get everybody on the same page? The entire team needs to perform at their best for every shift of every period of every game for the Jets to have a hope, and what are the chances that's going to happen?
I've reluctantly came to the opinion that a shake-up may need to occur - probably letting Noel go, as it's easier to replaced the coach than 23 players.

You know what would do it? I do... Its the next home game the fans chant "fire noel"... That would do it.
