Rumor: Jesse Puljujarvi Part 3: Maybe He Picked Out His Brain Through His Nose One Lick at a Time?

Here is an example about that what I wrote yesterday. They cover up things in Edmonton. Those "journalists" deliberately translate wrongly and consequently what they are publishing has nothing to do what the player actually said. This kind of behavior is like that what Russian trolls are doing.

Who the hell is this guy?

Guys, I think we found JP or his agent

You do realize that "TSN" (The Sports Network) is based on Toronto, Ontario right? They have nothing to do with Edmonton. Additionally, calling "TSN" trolls for Edmonton is hilarious. You are so out of your element lol.

Omark we had a lot of fans coming in here thought. JP doesn't seem to have that many supporters.

Omark also had proven a lot more. 27 points in 51 NHL games. PPG in AHL in three different years, although 19-30 games. Did well in all sorts of other leagues in Europe. Omark fans were just frustrated that they saw a player excel in every other league he played in, but wasn't getting a shot in the big league.
Yep, Omark is in total different level compared to Pulju. Meanwhile Linus Omark is one the most impressive hockey players I have ever seen (in European league games), Puljujärvi is close to exact opposite. I was watching Oilers game once with a friend who doesn’t watch hockey that much and even she was wondering how Puljujärvi looks like he can barely skate without falling down. He literally looks the worst player on ice in th NHL. Of course, there’s much more in hockey than what first impression can give but I still wouldn’t compare these guys with each other.

However, Pulju is not a bad person. I feel bad for him just watched his newest interview and it’s just so sad in every way. He has a good heart and soul.

I was sympathetic even when the trade rumors were swirling around the draft.

I just assumed he either wanted a chance to actually play or he wanted a trade, which I could completely agree with. Lehto and then Jesse made it quite clear that this wasn't the case though

Yeah, I've been sympathetic to his cause right up until Lehto pulled the whole mis-quote BS stuff with Spector. I'm not a fan of Spector, but he thrashed him on that and at that point I lost all respect for how JP and his agent are handling this.

At this point, I don't want him traded for anything less than a sure thing. He, Aho and his agent need to learn that you don't play games like this in the NHL without paying your dues.

I'm willing to forgive him if he sucks it up, comes to camp and tries his hardest, but otherwise go to Europe, destroy your career and be a lesson to others to be more professional.

It’s tough to understand what is happening here. Age 21 qualifies as a young inexperienced adult but still old enough to make your own competent decisions.

Silly is the word that comes to mind.

If there is a chance to unload the Neal contract in the next few years we can throw Jessie into the mix along with a couple of “Winnipeg Alberta” T-shirts.

Are you seeing if you can get anal cavity induced hypoxia as well?

Anyone read this? It's a good article on how this Jesse situation is getting manipulated by the media and fans.

Edmonton Oilers: Edmonton Media Use Poorly Translated Quote in Attempt to Put Yet Another Nail in Puljujarvi’s Coffin.

Interesting point regarding the “lost in translation” (if true), but it reads like apologetic fanboy nonsense otherwise. Blaming McDavid and Draisaitl for being meanies and then continuing to deflect to Marody and his interview (oh clever, let’s do an exercise on taking his quotes out of context lolol) and then slagging him / writing him off (his centre depth chart is hilarious too, writing in Brassard before confirmed) is laughable rubbish.

Are we supposed to take away from that that McDavid and Drai are jerks? :)

This recent stuff wasn't the first time Pulju made it known he believes he needs to be given top 6 ice time to show he's good. He did the same in the 2nd year, and as soon as that word got out, he was done even getting a sniff of top 6 ice time. McLellan did the same to Yak. Showing any entitlement is a mortal sin with old school coaches.

Wow. He complains about people taking leaps interpreting Jesse comments, then proceeds to take even bigger leaps trying to smear other players. Now I know not to visit that site again.

Plain and simply, I'm pretty sure if Jesse just decided to show up and try his best, people would forgive him fairly quickly, but him and his agent seem to want to continuously double down on blaming others.

We all know the Oilers made mistakes with him, but it's foolish of him not to accept that he has a bit of a role in all of this as well.

Absolute clickbait...the guy just wants to sell his ****ty t-shirts and posts BS rumours from "sources" to drive traffic to his site. I think he's in Taiwan or something similar...you know, that hotspot for hockey. Drivel.
One of the Edmonton media members says he's a scammer. I don't know what the backstory is but I'm guessing it has to do with his shirts.

Edit:

Anyone else reminded of Omark? He had his group of fans that defended him to the grave (nothing his fault), and many of these posts didn't exactly make sense. You never saw the posters before and once Omark left you never saw them again.

Anyone getting that vibe with this thread and a certain poster

heh, I did a public service here haranguing those hounds hanging on any of the most unremarkable Omark accomplishment. Non conditional fandom is always lacking in perspective. Half the time I thought I was communicating with Omarks mama and family.

Sure, the translate could have been wrong. But what he doesn't address is the context surrounding that quote. Mistranslated quote or not, we still have a player who is trying to FORCE his way off a team that spent a 4th overall draft pick and wanted nothing but for him to succeed and contribute. So still, F*CK Jesse Puljujaarvi for leaving instead of putting his head down and going to work like every other NHLer that actually became an NHLer. He still thinks the solution is off this team, which means he thinks the problem is in Edmonton. A team with loads of winger oppurtunity, loads of center talent to support that winger, a new GM, and a new coach. Everything is set up for him to give it his best and make an impact on the Oilers, the fans would back him 110% in this endeavor. But nope, dumbass has set it in stone that he's out and there's no possible way for it to work in Edmonton.
