I 100% would vouch for Frank in regards to anything Sutter.I have a source checking in on that. Lol

And the top players will request a trade in the off season. It literally just happened to the turd kickers. If Sutter comes in we need to add more beef to play his style.
Trotz is running Nashville now as GM. He was my fave coach for years, wish we could have had him. Mentored Todd Nelson tooWhat's the story with Gallant? Would he be a good option? He has an unreal coaching record in the last decade with three different teams. Does he keep getting let go because of the lack of success in the playoffs? This article makes him out to be a player's coach, and it sure seems like we need more of a tactical guy:

Coaching Profiles: Gerard Gallant Is Available, And A Reunion With The Columbus Blue Jackets Seems Plausible
Gerard Gallant lost his job after two seasons with the New York Rangers, and a reunion with the Columbus Blue Jackets seems like a possibility.www.1stohiobattery.com
I know Trotz took some time away to be with his family - maybe he's ready to come back?
Scratch that - I forgot he took the job as Nashville's GM.I know Trotz took some time away to be with his family - maybe he's ready to come back?
The moment McDrai don’t play all world the team can’t win games.Seemed fine last year. And the year before, the year before that and the year before that. Teams has some weaknesses like just about every team but those should be apparent in the playoffs not game 13.
Mcdavid didn’t make our goals against 4th best in the nhl back half of last year. This is the challenge in managing this team.
Results can be skewed when one player is going on a monstrous scoring tear like McDavid did.
Everyone grows an inch or two taller, mistakes are erased, mojo around the team is good.
You have to be brutally honest when evaluating the rest of the team and their play without being skewed by how much Connor makes things look pretty good when he is on.
Gallant has an ultra short shelf life. Like one year max before the team starts tuning him out. What's the story with Gallant? Would he be a good option? Well we don’t have any worth while young players so that’s fine I guessLost favor in NY because he refused to play young players.
If Sutter comes then our top players will definitely leave
What is NNN
Keep us updatedI have a source checking in on that. Lol
I get that, but the defensive isn't any were near as bad as the goaltending has been. It's embarrassing tbhI'll be honest though a lot of the Oilers defensive breakdowns are glaring. Yes Campbell/Skinner aren't great as well, but the number of horrendous breakdowns this year was like watching the Eakins era Oilers.
Top players don't trump winning. If McDavid is good with Sutter hockey rest can F off.And the top players will request a trade in the off season. It literally just happened to the turd kickers.
One from the Oilers old boys club probablySo what dinosaur is being brought out of retirement??
Still could use more especially in the bottom 6. Loved Holloway's game yesterday, we need more like that from him.We have some I think. He would love Kane and Nurse, even though he's not necessarily a "hit to hurt guy", Ekholm is a big human being too. Desharnais likely would benefit a lot from a coach like that too.
If Sutter comes then our top players will definitely leave
And they'll likely leave if we don't win the cup in the next 2 years. If we win a cup and then Sutter wears out his welcome you look for a new coach. And the top players will request a trade in the off season. It literally just happened to the turd kickers.
I don’t agree. I said it before I think McDavid would thrive under him. I really really doubt they go with him though. If Sutter comes then our top players will definitely leave
I’d be really nervous if Holland was actually fired. Being the lame duck GM he is in the last year of his contract I suspect he’s already been stripped of his power and no longer has the autonomy to make decisions regarding the future and will be allowed to finish the year and then move on. His firing to me would mean that something has happened inside the team where a major player move needs to be made before the end of the season and the organization wants it made by the next GM. To me that would be if McDavid or Draisaitl (more likely Draisatl because he has less term left on his contract) has either told the organization they aren’t resigning or has out right asked to be traded. Such a move would be franchise altering and should be made by the next permanent GM. If neither of these things have happened then it’s really not really necessary to move Holland out now. Jackson can oversee any moves until the end of the season when the new GM is chosen.Well let's see who the replacement is. Hopefully Manson and especially Schwartz are gone as well. Bonus points if Holland gets the f*** out too. Maybe we can get a coach that knows how to help our team be a better 5 v 5 team.
Yes, because players these days don't put up with that. That's just how it is.Why because they would be held accountable or because a couple of p***yes in Calgary wanted out due to the that reason?
So gallant is a fitGallant has an ultra short shelf life. Like one year max before the team starts tuning him out.
Trotz is GM in Nashville now.
Yeah we tried the nice guy coach. I think it could have worked if the roster were better but we are here now. Sutter might be the antidote to this teams recurring issues of not being prepared and not valuing defense. Sutter won’t allow them to ignore these things.Or they'll respond to it like Gaudreau did and become much better all around players.
It's up to the player really ... if you want to be great ... then prove it. Don't say it, prove it to everyone.
If little 5'7 Gaudreau can have a season out of his mind and Tkachuk can explode in points too and so did Lindholm ... why not with our core. If you listen to what the guy says, his system does get over performance almost everywhere he goes.
If you're a lazy bum like Huberdeau, well then that's a different problem that goes beyond coaching. Can't teach desire.
