Jack Edwards being Jack Edwards

Oddly enough, he actually gets excited and shows a pulse when the Bruins give up goals.

Look at how he calls these MTL goals from 2011 G7:

I forgot that game went to OT. Damn Habs were close to knock off the Cup winner. Time goes by fast. Already 10 years.

he was a complete clown today

Jack Edwards is like an 8 year old, tells stories that have nothing to do with what was happening/being discussed, doesn’t know how to pronounce anyone’s names, cries when things go against his team and bursts out uncontrollable laughter in excitement when his team does good things.

He definitely needs a new line of work.

I really liked Brickley – until last night. When a goalie covers the puck with his glove and somebody pokes it out with his stick, it is goalie interference. That Edwards has no idea is no surprise. But Brickley as a former player should know better. And still... I somehow enjoy this tandem most of the time.

5,000,000 games announced and he can't figure out how to hide his grotesque homerism on a national broadcast nor figure out how to pronounce Kulikov or Subban? I'm almost surprised he didn't refer to Kyle as Poolmary.

Some Bruins fans swear up and down that Edwards cares so much, he asks every player how to say their name. They get really defensive over how he says names for some reason.

I think his argument was that he didn’t really have it covered, because wasn’t over it long enough to be called possession. I personally think it was the right call, but it was very close. The stick arrived at almost the exact same time as the glove covered it; that was Bricks point

I get it but it basically means that when the goalie covers the puck with his glove players can whack it out if they're only doing it fast enough, which is what... 0,5 seconds? Or 1 second? Or 2? "Almost" just isn't good enough. Even in Brickley's time this wasn't ok. Actually, some defenders might have taken his head off in that era for doing that, and rightfully so.

If his stick was under the glove and he got it on the puck you'd have a point. But he clearly got nothing but the top of Blackwood's glove, which was covering the puck.

Fine, but Krejci's stick is still pushing Blackwood into the net even after the puck is loose.

Believe it or not but Brickley has always been a bigger homer than Edwards. Brick just doesn't freak out like a nerd and get the attention

Even if he didn’t have it covered long enough, krejci literally turned Blackwood 30 degrees with his stick in his shoulder lol. That alone is no goal let alone there’s not a time period for how long you can’t poke at the goalie. If he has the puck covered, you can’t hack it out? I understand him trying because he could see it initially, and don’t think that’s a penalty. But in no way is that a good goal. Not even questionably good.

I was at this game, what a great experience. I'll never forget there was a guy sitting in the row in front of me - who had a camera and he had this weird obsession with PK subban, i think i watched him snap 15 zoomed in photos of him on the bench. Nobody else, just PK

To be perfectly honest, Jack seemed like the sane one here. Brickley is the one who seemed to be out of the loop.

Sane?

He was screaming like an 8 y/o kid with a tantrum at the end of the second because of a missed call (tripping] on I think Krejci..i didn't catch the devil who tripped him. No he's not sane lol
