Most Bruins fans want to see long-time B's radio announcer Dave Goucher come home after Jack's contract is up after this season. Goucher only took the Vegas job knowing Edwards was locked in at NESN but he misses New England.

I don't know the person behind the supposed persona, but I've been saying for years that Edwards perfect job would be as a commentator in professional wrestling.

His style doesn't work for me in the hockey realm, and it's not that it makes me angry.... But it definitely makes me cringe.

I did get a chuckle watching a highlight package of USA soccer goals from the 2002 World Cup on YouTube. He was the lead voice for ESPN. Some funny goal calls. Homered it up for the US.

I know he gets a lot of hate, but I actually love Jack Edwards. Definitely the most entertaining colour commentator in the league.
