I don’t want that bum Barzal until I hear his stance on sundays vs mondays. We already have too many dummies on this team so we need some high IQ players.
 
American calendars start the week on Sunday. The NHL is in the USA. Checkmate.

When I visit your country I can drive on the wrong side of the road and pretend your silly calendar is correct, but here? Naw fam.

Oh boy we are back to the start of the week talk. Lets change it to the best pizza topping instead. (Btw it is clear that the week starts on monday)
 
Who thinks Martin Necas will thrive and be elite with our Avs?

After yesterdays game with also the input of Drury I think CMac might have sneakily won the blockbuster and not only considering cap and full roster building strategy, but also in the level of the immediate on-ice product. Hot damn that PP had some urgency to it!! This feeling after only two games is certainly not what I was expecting.

I believe Marty will be a 100+ point player.

I do.

I went through four phases when the trade was unfolding:

1. Oh shit, what have we done?

2. Oh sweet, Necas is awesome.

3. Oh crap, not Kotkaniemi.

4. Oh alright, this package is pretty damn good.

Regardless of new contracts signed or not signed... 1.5 years of Necas > .5 year of Rantanen. To add a responsible a 3C in Drury for 1.5 years, at minimum, and some decent draft capital were the cherries on top.
