Well, I'm not thrilled to trade Provorov, but it's definitely a move I understand if we are actually rebuilding. Definitely a step in the right direction.

Kevin Hayes next, please

Honestly, in terms of value, where the team stands and so on, this was the last good chance to deal him and we got a decent return. Better than I thought it would be, to be honest.

But yes, Hayes needs to go.

Provorov having to play on the 2nd pair watching Werenski. Werenski, Boqvist, Jiricek all likely getting PP roles. I like this timeline. Maybe Provorov can play slot on the PP?

I was given a signed Provorov mini-helmet in the summer of 2018 as a gift.

Do I need to call the county to dispose of it or is regular garbage OK?

At least you don't have to dispose of this! Poor Dan Silver.

I see the same dopes posting memes and talking about things that have zero to do with the trade. Some not posting at all. So it must be a good one. Nicely done Danny boy!

This is promising. I cannot wait to see if briere parts with someone who wasn’t on the way out already. That’ll validate what he’s said so far. If this is it, or he moves Hayes, then whatever. But if he pulls the trigger on hart or TK, I may actually hope to believe.

Agreed. This was a gimme. Trading Hart, TK, or someone like Tippett is a much more meaningful statement.

Sean Walker may be a RH 6/7, but that’s where the similarities with Braun end.

Walker is smaller, & at least before his knee injury was a good skater who liked to carry the puck. More of an offensive lean to his game than defensive.

Braun obviously was a strictly stay-at-home guy who blocked shots & tied people up in corners, but the puck was never on his stick for long.

I'll add my voice to those who are satisfied with the return. My previous predictions were Hart for Petersen and value, and I'm disappointed that Durzi or Spence weren't coming this way; however, a 1st, 2 2nds, and Grans plus a not-negative-value Walker is very good. We will also get to witness if the triumvirate has found a diamond in the rough with Grans.

Yeah, I agree with you on that
