Why do Kings overpay for him even if it comes with an extension , they are not even close to go deep in the playoffs

Anybody ripping Dubois if he goes to LA is out to lunch ,

Dubois dodged a bullet cuz if he's getting ripped for not signing with Montreal imagine him at 9million putting in a lackadaisical shift every now and then the guy would get crucified in Montreal, he was wise to not come here at 9mill and get the smoke the guy is just not built like that smart move he's not about that life , not a big dog.

Yeah thats a simple problem that could be fixed though. Don't be a greedy asshole and leave some money on the table and sign a team friendly deal around what Suzuki and Caufield signed.

Nah, it's LA holding it up. Danault lost his sh#t when he found out about this as he will drop to 3C. He is now threatening to not report if LA picks up PLD.

And you get a young man in Barron that's on the verge of being a very good offensive D in the league. You get a top prospect in Hutson and the first pick of a rebuilding team next year. By getting that you build your D squad for the future.

For the Habs you get Dubois without losing big roster players and you still have a gazillion prospect Defensemen. We are stacked even without Barron and Hutson.

No , we are not stacking without two of our best defensive prospects. We are flirting with a couple injuries and a bust away from needing to draft high some more.

poor guy he will need someone to do his grocery for him .
Using ur childhood team to make a bidding on an overpriced player whos known to act like a lil girl when things arent going for him.

He's not worth what L.A is giving for
He's not worth above 7.5m a season
Also L.A will be even worse with that trade than they are at this moment.

Also Fans can boo him all they want , Dubois is just another money looking shark that is just using us for his own good.

He can go smoke that L.A Smog for all I care

They're also pretty small on D, and only have 4 D signed. Pretty sure the plan there is to probably sign one cheap veteran depth guy then play kids like Clarke, Spence & Bjornfoot. One injury on D and they're screwed though.

Could see Eddy and Allen traded to LA, both fill a big need and bring loads of leadership. Only thing to do is wait now.
