Well I mean it's just that Montreal are not only his only team. It's his first but not the only place. Plus he wants to accomodate the Jets cause he has placed them in a difficult situation. So he has to sign with his new team longterm. It's not that he doesn't want to come to the Habs. That's just the way it is.

They essentially need to get rid of Arvidson and Iafallo for nothing to pay off signing Dubois then still sign a number one goalie, add 3 D and like 2 forwards for the 9 mill.

If Vilardi isnt part of the deal, they need even more cap
