p.s. Vladdy is the best prospect we've ever had.
I agree. I've never been this excited about a Blue Jays prospect. Bo is right behind him too.

Oh man. I CANNOT wait to see Vlad with the big club. He has franchise player potential...

when would they promote him if they do, typically half season mark? any chance he goes up 2 levels in a season?

Minor league ticket deals are ridiculous haha

2 tickets, 2 hot dogs, 2 drinks, 2 popcorns, 2 hats for $26 + $1.50 beers

I would guess he gets promoted around the end of this month, stays in A+ for most of the year, and then maybe a taste of AA at the end of the year, though that may depend on which minor league teams make the playoffs. I think he may well get a september callup to the bigs, too.

Hmm I hope you're right about a September call up. I personally thought he's at least 1-2 years away, considering he's VERY young.

But I am not against it!

A September callup is a massive, massive longshot.

If he keeps up a nearly 200 wRC+, I think your timeline makes sense. But there's no need to rush him. Half a season in Lansing, half a season in Dunedin, then he starts in New Hampshire next year would be an outstanding result.

wow that is a good deal, I imagine price goes up as the level goes up ie: A, A+,AA,AAA?

Yeah - Bisons tickets IIRC are a bit more expensive

That deal was for Beloit, which might have the worst attendance in the entire minor leagues. South Bend was $26 for two tickets over the Lansing dugout so not much more expensive I guess.

Just hope these guys don't get promoted in the next week haha

if the jays are out of it, a september callup for your top prospect on the cusp of AA isn't that crazy. I mean, where else is he gonna go?

It is when he's only 18 and has presumably only been in AA for a month.

The last time an 18-year-old got a single plate appearance in the majors was Alex Rodriguez in 1994.

This less time you spend in the minors, the brighter the star becomes.

but that would be assuming he gets at least 1PA this year, im sure there are more 19 year olds that have at least one PA (wasn't bryce harper brought up at 19?)

so what are the chances both Bo and Vlad stick at current positions? be a pretty good left side of the infield

I think Alford is hurt. He was lifted for a defensive sub just 3 days ago I believe and hasnt played since. Any updates on his status.

I think Bo will definitely be a SS, worst case a 2B.

Vlad most likely will stick at 3B. But he also plays LF well - someone correct me if I'm wrong

Wait a minute...if Vlad is the best Blue Jays prospect of all time...does that make the homie Bo the second best of all time??

Bo's great but imo he has a number of factors which make him less exciting than vlad at this point - his line is way too babip-dependent, his bb/k numbers are only good not great, and he's a year older.

That being said, Bichette is getting up there - he's ahead of where former great prospects like verno, rios, green, etc. were, and more in line with what Travis Snider was at that age.
