Okay, make that a very, very high end Clutterbuck.Dufour going off tonight. 2goals 2assists after 2 periods. Now leads the Q in goals and points i believe
Why am I worried about him playing in BP next year? Maybe it's just me. Hopefully he can go to the BP Tigers and rip it up with Raty and Holmstrom next year. Sounds like the Isles future KID LINE to me.Dufour going off tonight. 2goals 2assists after 2 periods. Now leads the Q in goals and points i believe

I can see this too. Liiga ends their season in March. We could see Raty this year in BP in April. On the draft, like Lane's nephew Lambert as a prospect too. You mentioned him. Got some great skills. The more I view Cooley, I like him more. That's the problem with watching prospects. I am not a pro tanker. Cooley will be gone top 5 for sure. Maybe even higher.I think there’s a chance we can see Raty with the big club. I’d start him out with Bridgeport for half a season at least. We’ll see.

God I wish he could drop far but the isles are too good to be at the 2-3 position without a little lottery luckCooley can potentially go #1. I think #2-3 is a much safer bet. Cooley is like ROR in that he’s already so good defensively and understands that part of the game at such a young age.

He can probably play wing also, but this kids just good at face-offs as well. I have good faith he can be a hintz comparable which this team desperately needsI think that he'll need to play in BP if he's going to play C. They have the option of playing him on Pageau's LW next year, which is also a pretty good development strategy.

which if you look at how Raty has been with Jukerit, that isn't really a concernNot worried about faceoffs, worried about center's defensive responsibilities.
The players in the NHL are bigger, the rink is smaller. Just sayin...which if you look at how Raty has been with Jukerit, that isn't really a concern

Raty is 6'2, While Barzy (arguably our best puck handler and possession player) is 6'0. I doubt Raty can struggle with that if he keeps developing btw.The players in the NHL are bigger, the rink is smaller. Just sayin...

No but I always anticipate an adjustment for teen players from European leagues. Their bodies need to fill out and they have to get used to the speed at which the NHL game happens. Decisions have to be quick, work in the corners can be more punishing than in Europe.Isnt a big concern for Aho for example. Not the biggest player out there.
tbh if it was up to Barrold he would've played him but Lou has other plansDont be. One of the best things about him is he understands at a young age that side of the game. He will struggle like any young forward but he’s ahead of the curve.
This is Trotz from training camp. Praised Raty and his IQ. We know how Trotz is with defense in young guys. Doesn’t see many “holes” in Ratys game. That’s huge.
“I’ve been extremely impressed with the player to this point,” Trotz said in September. “Quite mature, has lots of game, high hockey IQ. He reminds me of a Zach Parise-type of player. Got a really good motor, always around the net, very intelligent, wins his puck battles, good hands. What a great pick by our scouts. There’s certain kids you get excited with that show up at camp, but he has this hole and that hole. There’s not that many holes in (Räty’s) game. He’s pretty well-versed in that. We talk about who impresses you, what do you see, he’s made a really good impression to start.”
