Josh Doan is a very, very good prospect
Tyler Boucher however, is very, very not.

it pretty much just feels like Raty and Dufour. Holmstrom maybe, rest are meh.Man this prospect pool blows, they would be lucky to get 4 NHLers out of the group above.
He is indeed.

I think Saginaw is just ass, and we're suckers for drafting from them every single timeWhat's the situation on Lennox? Those numbers aren't encouraging. Is Saginaw just not good this year I'm assuming?
Skarek might become a backup and I can see Liukas being a journeyman bottom sixer, but yeah other than that there’s no optimism for anyone else.
Trade away picks for guys like Pageau and Palms will do that. Seriously I hate how we end up in this conundrum of "Oh we traded picks to go deeper" yet never won. The past two seasons are going to sit in my stomach forever in a bad way.Cameron Berg is intriguing too- not much else there.

You think I don't know that? I'm glad we made it far, but a cup would've been even better. The problem now is that the players we traded for (Pageau, Palmieri) aren't producing as much as they should. I have an issue with that, but also our poor scoutingLet me explain something - the back to back conference finals the last two seasons and this Trotz era is the next best thing in this franchises history since the cup days.
That is far more important than f***ing Ridley Grieg or whatever scrub the Devils picked last draft.
for some of us are over the prospect hugging and the love affair with potential draft targets most of us have never seen play - give me Connor Garland, Alexi Romanov, Jordan Kyrou NHL players.
Lou went for it two years in a row and he was right to do it, when we criticized him in year one when he sat on his hands at deadline when we needed scoring help.
You are new here and I like the enthusiasm, but some of your posts fluctuate from hot takes to trolling

If you wanna call my takes "trolling", I suppose I should leave this echo chamber simply because it's a different islander fan opinion, that it isn't the narcissism from Daggers posts, or me not grovelling at Lou for every move he makes. I will admit he is right on some deals, but sometimes, he is off. but this conversation is not related to our prospects at all. This is something else.
Lennox has better numbers than Saginaw’s other goalie(besides the W-L column.)
Lennox: 22 gp 3.25 gaa 88.5 sv%
Oke: 22 gp 4.37 gaa 85.9 sv%
Klatt joined the Islanders in September 2010 following the exit of scout Ryan Jankowski. Under Klatt's supervision, the Islanders have selected Ryan Strome, Scott Mayfield, Griffin Reinhart, Ryan Pulock, Michael Dal Colle and Joshua Ho-Sang among others since 2011.

It's a mixed bag overall and for the 2019+ drafts still a little too early however I don't see much if anything from the entire 2016 and 2017 draft classes, granted the 2016 class was mostly late picks. Mirageas was a big whiff he looks to be done with hockey entirely and was never impressive at any level.
I'm fairly excited about some of our later picks in the last two draft classes, we may have some players there in 2-3 years.
Isles now have the 9th best odds to win the draft lottery. Are there any obscure Swedes that may be picked #1?
And don't mess it up by picking an obscure Swedish prospect on a reach. A Center Cooley or Wright. The freaking Devils and Rangers get so lucky with the lottery.....How about us for a change. I would love to get the 1st overall pick. I know it's a toss up between Wright and the Russian player. Sounds like either way you can't go wrong. But to me, the 1st pick in the 2023 draft would be the one I truly would want.
Without risk, there is no success.Sometimes you have to push your chips into the middle. It's okay, picks replenish themselves.
May I ask what is so special about Dufour? He is older so why does it matter so much that he is top in scoring? It seems similar to that defenseman Brenden Kichton a while back.
