Hank retires a ranger lol get over it because as bad as he's been what's infront of him is worse. He'll figure it out but Nick Rash probably will remain a shell of himself

This isn't a shell of himself, this is who he is. CBJ fans warned us that the guy's cancer.

Laviolette is out there without a job.

He might at least try to force a bit more of a forecheck game. You'd think they'd learn that pressure causes them to cough up the puck, ESPECIALLY AT HOME. Why the hell the Rangers don't pressure the puck carrier is beyond me.

I always like laviolette but no way slats or Dolan will eat AV's contract

I'm not arguing Hank has been good this season.

I'm arguing 7 years of elite play outweighs 30 bad games.

Seeing Nash come to New York and fail to make any impact is significantly more upsetting than Hank's bad stretch.

If I had to pick one of them to keep, I keep the guy who's consistently been top 1-3 at his position his whole career.

I've decided on my New Year's resolution. And I'm going to start early. I've decided not to let these mf'ers ruin my xmas. For one thing at least until I begin to detect a pulse on this team of ours I'm going to quit *****ing about the officiating--not that it isn't horrible but the more bad calls against us I'm thinking the better a draft pick we should get in June--that is if our GM doesn't trade it in the meanwhile.

Rangers chumps (or underachievers) this year--Lundqvist, Nash, Richards, Brassard, Pouliot, Boyle, Pyatt, Del Zotto, Falk.

I'll let Staal off the hook.

Rangers who actually seem to have played like they give a rat's ass--McDonagh, Zuccarello, Kreider, McDonagh, Talbot.

The rest I haven't decided on--Callahan, Girardi, Hagelin, Stepan, the Moore's, Stralman, Dorsett.

I've come to the conclusion that Rick Nash is a big, goofy dork and Del Zotto and Pouliot are brainless. Falk is as fake a tough guy as it gets. Richards is a shell. Pyatt and Boyle couldn't score in a rec league. Henrik still makes great saves--he lets weak goals in just about every game. I don't know where his head is at--maybe it's already in Sochi. If it is--well **** him. AV if he had any balls would be playing Talbot every game instead.

Rangers fans are either way too high on hank or way too low on him. Both sides are ridiculous. If you say he hasn't sucked this year, you are dumb. If you are talking about a buyout for hank, you are also dumb.

But that's against the rules. You must be on one extreme side or another. You know, to cancel each other out.

If Hank is so good then let's see what we can get for him..this team is going nowhere anyway..start from scratch

lol the old "jealous" argument. A classic.

As if the whole ****ing league isn't filled with millionaires.

I ask because you've attacked him because of his incoming salary about 15 times today. This is the definition of "hating".

Guy looked way better up until this years concussion. I liked him on CBJ but wanted him to stay on CBJ. This is a bad bad situation

Amnesty Lundqvist. ROFL. Do some research, people. Can't use an amnesty on a contract signed after the creation of the new CBA. That kind of talk is ridiculous anyway with Richards ripe for an amnesty buyout

the Problem is with the managemant. The players get too comfortable. Ride them by bus and let them stay in three star hotel.

It has everything to do with an 8.5 caphit that my team has to shoulder and absolutely nothing to do with his wealth.

I guess we were all jealous of Gomez and Redden's wealth too... :shakehead

The way this season is going watch Richards get injured in April.

Stop ******** on Henrik in the most ass backward fashion. He's not playing well for the first time in his career, most of which stuck with our mediocre team and now that he has 25 bad games, everyone wants to ship him and trade him and jokes of buying him out and ******** on his well earned overpayment?

People said the same thing about Mike Richter in chatrooms and first-generation message boards in 1997-98. "Richter's fine, he's just in a little slump. Rangers can't score enough. Can't blame Mike for giving up a late goal if the Rangers only scored 1, yada yada yada."

Meanwhile, he's not making the big save to keep a game tied late, keeping a late lead, or keeping a one goal deficit. The team falls out of playing .500 hockey and starts a seven year slide into hockey purgatory. Because Richter was blameless, the Rangers never drafted a goaltender and never groomed a replacement. Richter continues his mediocre play and gets the injury bug. Rangers then have to find free agent scrubs just to fill the position.
