The lower shooting percentage is Boyle, because he obviously produces more shots.
Do you expect Boyle to sustain a 3% shooting percentage (career is 8.1%), or Asham to sustain a 14% (career is 11.0%)? When those shooting percentages revert to sustainable figures, Boyle will have a lot more goals.
One would hope... He gets more ice time and more shots, doesn't disprove the fact that Asham is a more opportunistic scorer. He gets more done with less chances.
