I'm fairly certain it will come out that Nash is playing hurt. He was dragging his leg much of the game last night.
But it's the playoffs.
either hurt or completely unconditioned

Nash doesn't get a pass in my book, even if its a leg concussion.

He would play in the World Championships almost every year after his season was over.Well he hasn't played past game 82/48 for majority of his career

Well, when you're in pain in a specific region, there's only so much you can use that specific body part. If your legs are taken out in hockey, you're practically useless.
One shot in the eye is killing us, Staal plays at full strength the whole series, the series is over by now
Agreed. At some point he's gotta tough this out though.
Gotta wonder if its a permanent damage.
We have the worst luck with D-man.
First Sauer, and now Staal could potentially have permanent eye damage.![]()
I can't forget that cheapshot from Phaneuf. He lost our own homegrown Hamonic because of that ****bag.
Phaneuf's hit on Sauer was clean. If Sauer had his helmet strapped on properly, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

It's not really about toughing it out. If the guy has depth issues or blurring he becomes a detriment to the team by playing at a disadvantage. Could you imagine this board if Staal missed a poke check or flubbed a turnover for the GWG because of his eye? Crucified, burned and buried.
Wonder if Em has blurred vision?
Maybe Del Zotto as well, considering his shots 'on' goal
Thank you. I can't believe people still rag on Phaneuf for that hit. That was a clean hit. (on a side note, wished we even had a defenseman that can hit like that) If anyone is to blame, its Sauer for having his chin strap so loose. Its a crummy situation but it is what it is. We all miss Sauer and wish him a speedy recovery but take off the homer shades ffs.
