Everything this egomaniac does is through the media
Why can't Torts just tell McD in private that he shouldn't have said anything? Everything this egomaniac does is through the media. No need for that.
That question was likely the first time Torts realized that McD gave that quote. Is it really a big deal that he said that a player shouldn't violate a team rule?
As long as McDonagh keeps putting Ovechkin in a box he can do whatever he wants.
On Thursday, Coach John Tortorella declined to answer a question about whether Staal would return to play during the series. When asked about McDonagh’s comments about Staal, Tortorella said: “Mac should shut up. It’s none of his business.â€
No one puts Ovi in a corner. As long as McDonagh keeps putting Ovechkin in a box he can do whatever he wants.
Just thinking out loud here but what if it was not the eye that he was uncomfortable with. He took a really big hit in the corner in the begining of the game. Dare i say what if he started getting head aches the following day. MCD's comments might be to throw everyone off that he was not comfortable with his eye and maybe he has another concussion! I mean he did not skate at all today at practice, he could have at least went out for a conditioning skate with the eye issue.
Sounds a bit conspiracyish to me, more likely, as he said, it's a bad day for his vision, he has good days and bad ones as we know. He got hit in game 3, but he seemed to bounce back quite well, and didn't look like he was playing injured, usually with a concussion it's pretty obvious that somethings not right.
Not really. I mean he played a few games before he was out with his concussion the last time.
