They have been talking about it recently, Tigres didn't deny it so who knows (Garde did some time ago)

If he can pull this off, Garde deserves all the credit in the world. Might as well cut the middle man out and have him do the negociations himself from now on.
I have a feeling this was all a huge misunderstanding, both sides had good intentions, but someone didn't explain well to Briand why the package couldn't be written on the contract. Then Saputo not answering his texts, NDS talking like a mobster trying to lure in his next kill "Yeah come here, we'll talk about it man..."

No surprise Briand was like "wait a minute, this is fishy as f***."

Is this a recycling of old news or could this actually happen?

The article is quoting the Telemundo recycled article as it's source. Lazy ass reporters are all quoting that damn article but no one is going to the source. "Is it good click bait?" is all that's important.

That's what you get from a team who thinks putting Richard Legendre in a spokesperson role is a good idea. they're clueless on every level whenit comes to communication. And it stems from the owner himself: look at how daddy's boy handled communications in his last outting with the media, a f***ing disaster.

Cabrera has been pretty good lately, hasn't he?

He's been fine, but the main reason behind shopping him is that he takes an international spot and that he's quite expensive. Also, since he's a known commodity in MLS, he's easier to trade. As Nilton and Sofiane have pointed in one of their CCPP, Cabrera first signed a contract with the MLS and then Montréal asked to get him, so he's well known by most teams.

Management 101, they need to delegate a lot more, which means hiring more. This isn't USL or A league anymore.

Also, Ballou <3
