Where does Kasper Halttunen fit into the lineup now that Cardwell and Gushchin are back?

Gushchin - Poturalski - Graf
Bordeleau - Bystedt - Cardwell
Coe - White - Bailey
Houle - Robins - Vincent

Does Halttunen replace Bailey at this point or do you guys like how Bailey has played. Or does he get sent back to London at this point.

Man, you really want Halttunen back pretty bad, huh?

If Bailey's putting in the effort, which he has after he got scratched that one time, I prefer Bailey over Halttunen. Your lines also don't include Sabourin, who wouldn't get bumped out in this scenario. Probably put him in over Houle, who started hot but has just one point in his last five games. Coe has looked good lately and has earned his icetime, but I'm always wary of him becoming invisible again.

Basically, if the Barracuda are completely healthy (which is what we're talking about here), with the addition of Gushchin and the return of Robins, Halttunen coming back in is going to require taking a productive player out. It's tough, but a good problem to have.

Just a personal opinion, but I think we might make a move that ships a forward out sometime soon.

Well we really need him back in London. Our PP Isn’t the same without him. At the end of the day, we need him for our Memorial Cup run. He will get top six minutes and get his offensive mojo back. And you don’t have to trade anybody, you need to release him back to the Knights.

He’s also one of my favourite players so there is also that! Haha!

I'm assuming it's to assign to him to the Cuda, where he was supposed to be this whole time?

Yeah, he was on season opening IR, so we've had to wait until now to put him on waivers. Times like these are when I miss Capfriendly.

Also, Barracuda have six veterans now (assuming Carlsson clears): Bailey, Sabourin, White, Poturalski, Schuldt, Carlsson. We can play all of those guys at once, but if we were to receive another veteran, one vet would have to sit.

Couple AHL to ECHL demotions, since our forward depth chart just got more crowded: Luke Grainger and Mitchell Russell sent down to Wichita.

Cas is right about the location. It’s right next to Sharks ice on 10th street. The arena itself is awesome. New, clean and not a bad seat in the house. I know the Cuda have been bad but I’m surprised the attendance is so poor.
Weekday games are just very hard to justify. Weekend games they are packed.

Edit: oh shit that was an accidental necro reply. Delete as necessary LOL

If Vanecek is only expected to be out a few days, I would guess we see Askarov on either Wedesday or Thursday and then back to the Cuda. If it's longer, then someone from the Thunder should get called up before the Cuda game Saturday. We'll see which it is.

They'll probably leave Askarov in St Louis so he can fly to Toronto and rejoin the Cuda against the Marlies on Saturday morning and then three more games in Canada as opposed to having him fly back Friday.
