If it's not Jack Campbell who should be the Leafs new #1 goalie?

I’ve been on board with a Blackwood tandem since day one, however, I haven’t read or heard any insiders even mention Blackwood and the leafs. I hope it’s a surprise move.

Allen with retention might be ok as in a timeshare situation.

Not sure why Allen's name has popped but but from listening to Lavoie, Price may never play another game. Said his swollen knee was supposed to take 6 weeks to recover from but that it was still an issue a year later. I can see Allen being dumped cheap if the Habs were to sign another starter.

Everything I've read say Edmonton is going to offer 5X5

Then Kyle will offer 5.036x5 with max money up front. No way Soup goes to Edmonton.

I hope not. I don't have faith that he can do that contract good. That's a lot of mental pressure to live up to

If Dubas' back is against the wall, and he doesn't have something up his sleeve for a Blackwood trade or another goalie, I don't think he lets Campbell walk into the hands of Edmonton.
Maybe but I hope not. Too long and too much imo
That said, it could just be Campbell's agent posturing to get more money

Not the most ideal situation if the money and term is not friendly, but it’s better than not having a decent goalie.

What I’m concerned about is Campbell health. Hopefully with a new goalie coach that introduces better conditioning and helps mitigate it.

Dubas will get something done, but we’ll see in the next coming weeks what that looks like.

Agreed.
Lets see what happens but I would not want to start the season with Woll kallgren and Hutch as our depth in net.
I still like Woll as a prospect but I would rather his toes get wet slowly coming in the league rather than sink or swim

5x5 for Jack isn't ideal but at this point, I'm not sure there are any better options. In fact that may end up being the best option by a good margin.

It is a thing actually. It's essentially when a team wants rid of player and is not expecting much of anything back via trade = Soft Deal!
Please show me an article or video where someone says that…literally not one article has that I’m willing to bet

Absolutely excited to see this team run it back.
Lol run what back?! A first round exit…?

It's not a good place to be but dubas has shown the ability to get rid of bad contracts.
I'm still secretly holding my breath for Gibson

I still say this team needs a stud goalie to win the big prize. The decamillionaires are 0-fer in elimination games. They've had their chances to win big games with good NHL goalies. Next step is getting that one individual who can dominate and win elimination games when the scorers go cold: the stud goaltender.

Definitely, going into the season with them as a tandem would not be a smart move.

I also like Woll. So far from what I've seen in the NHL games they've played, Woll is ranked above Krallgran to me. His technique looks better.
