Laugh if you want, but the real leader out there right now is the shortest guy on the team.
I think you'd go a year with 3 As and let a captain emerge.
Boyle C
Carcillo A
Dorsett A
Staal or Girardi.
I can see Boyle getting an A. Wouldn't have a problem with it.
well Donald Brashear had an A in Washington and he stunk as a player so i can see them giving it to Boyle since he has been here a long time and lets be honest if it was not for the Rangers he would not be in the NHL.
Let's be even more honest and say he would be in the NHL.well Donald Brashear had an A in Washington and he stunk as a player so i can see them giving it to Boyle since he has been here a long time and lets be honest if it was not for the Rangers he would not be in the NHL.

What is the worst the league can do to the Rangers if they bucked the system and put a "C" on Hanks sweater anyway?
Money's not an issue.
Let's be even more honest and say he would be in the NHL.
yea because teams other than the Rangers were lining up to trade for him???
he didnt play many games in the NHL for the Kings and they traded him instead sending him to the minors... if they really liked him as a player, they would have kept him in the organization... since being trading to the Rangers, Brian Boyle has not played 1 game in the AHL. like it said if it was not for the Rangers.
Brian Boyle actually scored 31 goals 62 pts in 70 games in the AHL 07-08 season its a shame he does not remember how to score
