Kreider after he wins the Smythe, creates an offseason lower body workout school, and makes it mandatory participation for all players on the team.

And four Rangers suffer serious concussions hitting their heads jumping out of a pool...

Laugh if you want, but the real leader out there right now is the shortest guy on the team.

He's the shortest but got the biggest heart; he wears it on his sleeve. Yes. Give him a Richards' A.

Girardi gets an A. Staal would stay with it but all those injuries make me wonder if he should just give it up.

Stepan gets the C if Callahan is gone.

I can't imagine giving the C to Nash but in reality he probably gets it for PR reasons.

I'd consider McDonough and Kreider for future captaincy, depending on how things go.

Nobody.

3 A's and give it some time to see a leader emerge.

The players on this team have shown zero leadership capabilities this season, hot streak recently or not.

Staal or Girardi.

I can see Boyle getting an A. Wouldn't have a problem with it.

well Donald Brashear had an A in Washington and he stunk as a player so i can see them giving it to Boyle since he has been here a long time and lets be honest if it was not for the Rangers he would not be in the NHL.

Wow, are we really having this conversation? Since he has been back he has been very good , and back to his old self. Team USA has him in the leadership group, he is a fan favorite, and he works hard, oh and yeah he can score F'ing goals. He played nearly half the games compared to most of the forwards and is only 4 goals from the team leader.

Chances are he will be back, especially if he continues to have a strong 2nd half.

If he does leave, and they give Stepan the "C" then that is the day I become a Devils fan. Yeah that bad!!!!

Let's be even more honest and say he would be in the NHL.

Yeah he would probably be in the NHL instead.

wat

What is the worst the league can do to the Rangers if they bucked the system and put a "C" on Hanks sweater anyway?

Money's not an issue.

C has been worn by Luongo in Vancouver before. They said it was a terrible mistake and it is. A goalie isn't involved in the games interactions as much as a skater is.

I think everyone knows that Hank is the true leader of this team, he doesn't need a letter to validate that.

yea because teams other than the Rangers were lining up to trade for him :sarcasm:???

he didnt play many games in the NHL for the Kings and they traded him instead sending him to the minors... if they really liked him as a player, they would have kept him in the organization... since being trading to the Rangers, Brian Boyle has not played 1 game in the AHL. like it said if it was not for the Rangers.

Brian Boyle actually scored 31 goals 62 pts in 70 games in the AHL 07-08 season its a shame he does not remember how to score

Not sure if this post is a joke or not.

:sarcasm: ???

How many years ago was that? After all the games he's played and all the work he has put in, you don't think another team would want him? Let's see the contract he gets from another team if we don't sign him. He may not score goals, but he is extremely valuable. But I know, he can't fight, so he sucks.
