I think that's a myth that has been perpetrated as an excuse for the leadership we've had, who have been such vanilla, uninspiring personalities that we needed a way to believe they were doing more behind closed doors than we were seeing. Leadership, in actual fact, is something you can often see. Does that mean we need to see our leaders yelling and getting excited every night? No, but in the years Callahan has been captain, you would have seen some more impassioned verbal leadership - if there was any. Leading by the example of being a 'good soldier' and 'giving 110%' really isn't good enough. I'm sorry. I don't see any leaders on this team.
