Do any of you happen to know the best time to show up in the afternoon at the Garden to meet guys and where? I have game two and would like to try

the ESPN pbp guy isn't good but I've enjoyed ESPN's coverage a lot more than NBC's playoff coverage in the past. you guys forget how f***ing terrible it was to have Edzo and Pierre together on the same broadcast. Ferraro is great.
How is McDonough not good

He did, but he came back and literally did everything that was asked of him after that. Top pair, 3rd pair, extra, 4th line forward because the organization was more worried about not offending Staal, etc.

I'd take him back at league minimum as a 7th D in a second.

All day buddy.

McDonough had some good calls last night.

It just seems like they were pulling for Carolina

around 4 usually for 7 oclock games, so assume in the 4 to 5 hour for the 8 o'clock start. I work in the area and park across the street on 31st so I run into Knicks and Rangers quite a bit.

Funny story, after the 3OT loss in G1 to PIT, I saw Mika leaving the Garden and told him, "long series, well get them". He nodded but seemed crushed from the loss, who would've thought we'd be where we are now!

Much respect to the Canes with a backup goalie, and much respect to Raanta for playing pretty amazing this series against a very powerful offensive team. Hold your heads high, Canes fans, you had a GREAT season, and its just the beginning. The Rangers and Canes will meet MANY more times in the future in the playoffs with these young groups they have.

Mika is about winning every single game, him and Kreider have a beautiful marriage going on, they are both the last players to leave the ice after every Rangers win. They are the true captains of this team. I feel like they might both be battling for that C.

So jealous of you guys that get to go to these games. I only see the Rangers in Chicago every year, and the occasional trip to MSG.

I'm seriously considering a trip for game 5. Haven't been to a playoff game since '94.

Might end up with divorce #2, but that's the way it goes.

It's worth it. I am blessed to go to every single home game and the garden has been electric all post season.

With the construction boarding everywhere, I have no idea where they go now. I would assume near the garage underneath Penn is where they will enter? Would be a cool experience.

For all the love Rod and the Canes get in the analytics community, they have yet to win a game past round 2 in his tenure. They also quite frankly dont have the game breaking talent up front that you need to go deep in the playoffs.

I was laughed at before the series for suggesting the Rangers had the 5 best players on the ice between the 2 teams. Is anyone doubting that now?
I have to admit the Hurricanes scared me at the start of the series, but despite going 7 games they were not very impressive, specifically their supposed big guns (Svechnikov, Aho, etc.). They won a few at home because Kakko missed and empty net and then credit to them they shut us down. Other than that, we dominated them. At least in my opinion.

Yeah definitely the garage below. Some of them definitely park in the Park N Lock on 31st between 7th & 8th, but I have also seen guys going in on the 33rd side as well.

I can’t remember the last time I was so happy to be so very wrong.
Not to worry, you're not the only one. Weren't you watching the ESPN "brains on the air"? Originally thought it was "Crosby and the Pens, lovefest"........then it turned into a "Canes are built for the PO's" and "They'd be surprised if the Rangers gave them any real trouble" type attitude.
Game 7 wasn't even over, and they were handing the Lightning a trip to the Cup over the Rangers.
In conclusion; (Multiple Choice)
1. They're idiots
2. They demand negative attention from NYR fanbase
3. They don't like the Rangers

Oh and btw.....happy I WASN'T wrong.

Hasn’t been enough love for him in this thread, but I f***ing love Tyler Motte. Dude skates every shift at 125% and would run through a wall for his teammates
Yep. this. Gotta love guys who do this. Literally putting his body at risk everytime he skates at that speed to put a hit on someone. Team guy first.

Thank you Carolina for taking Deangelo, man he couldn't get out of his own way most of that series with the turnovers.
Chris Kreider is seriously making a case for being the best ever ranger skater draft pick.

Question. Did everyone here lose it, when Strome missed that 3/4 wide open net that was actually saved while totally out of position?
I did. But you could see his fire in his eyes that he knew he blew it, and wanted to blast that next chance in. He did, so kudos to him.

Big goal, and much needed at the time. Btw, do I get kudos for calling his goal, which indeed was a great pass by Panarin?
I mean, c'mon. Calling a goal for Ryan after how many scoreless games? I gotta get something......right?

I can't believe it boys and girls...what a phenomenal game 7 they played! Just straight up solid!!! We're in the ECF! What an amazing night! This season has been nothing but a success now. I love you all!
Amazing what alcohol can do. Just look at all the love going around and around here. Not may bitching, many eating crow. lolol

Barry melrose loooks really old. That makes me feel old
And more stupid than ever. Intelligent, genuine words do not come out of his mouth very easily. Take solace in knowing you are mor intelligent than he.
