Brassard created chances and had a few. I don't get the hatred for him up here. What did Brad Richards create except for the Sharks' shorthanded goal? The Dear Leader Richie is fine about shooting off his mouth to Brooks, but there is squat of a contribution on the ice.

Why would they want the Rangers to lose? If people in Toronto were to root against any team, it would be Montreal.

The incessant whining against officials here only confirms that too many fans can't accept the simple fact that the personnel of NYR forwards is inferior.

Some fans always look for excuses, when the truth is staring them in the face.

St. Louis has been dreadful in his tenure here. He made one great pass to Zucc in the slot, and after that, was a no show all game.

I thought Lundqvist, McDonagh and Brassard all had good games.

The "top" end offensive talent needs to start producing though. A team cannot win with $20 million in cap space contributing absolutely nothing to the teams success.

Yup exactly. Our best players need to be our best players. If before the year I told you we'd be putting as much blame on Zucc for having a bad game as Nash, Richards and MSL, you'd laugh. These players need to lead by example.

As was I. This board just hates it's stars. Nash and Hank are having off years. This team is still a playoff team and is a good team. I can't imagine what we would be if we had Nash MSL Brad and Hank all playing up to their abilities.
 
I said earlier in the GDT that I just want to see an effort. I got an effort, but **** effort. When you have a team like this playing like garbage you don't lose these games. Columbus managed to get a point, they had every reason not to. Philly just swept the ****ing Pens. I can't take this anymore. I feel like I put in so much emotion into every season and the best thing I got in my years of watching hockey is one ECF trip, which had to be the most frustrating 2 round wins ever. I feel like Rangers fans deserve more than this. This has been the most frustrating season to date. They ****ing outplay team game in and game out but no one on the team can ****ing score. I'm tired of it. I really am. I need to find something else to do. I can't take this anymore.
 
Rangers blackout

With less than 4 minutes to go in the game msg in upstate ny changed from the rangers game to the sabres game. So this is to Gary Bettman. I've been rangers fan since 1977, far longer than you've actually gave a s**t about hockey. I want you to know that I will NEVER spend 1 more penny on anything NHL related. For every sabres fan around here there is 20 rangers fans, and you consistent screw us over. I done you get no more money from me you piece of garbage. You know why the nba let you leave. Cause they knew u sucked.
 
Team has been outhit, out battled, out skated, and out-worked by nearly every team we've played.

Keep Kreider, Stepan, Hags, Moore, and Zucc, and jettison the rest. Buyout Richards, Trade Nash, MSL, and Brassard. I couldn't possibly care less what happens with Pouliot. Boyle depends on the price.

No, they're not remotely close to a cup.

They will NEVER win with these centers as well. That is a fact.

This team is built horribly, as I was adamant about prior to the trade.

They're going nowhere this year even if they miraculously do make it. And now their future is even more up in the air with 2nd this year and no 1st next year. Also, it looks like Callahan will certainly test UFA, so I highly doubt we're getting back a 2nd from TBL.

Sather continues to **** this team. Even if he dies tomorrow, we are still ****ed by the trade for a while. Not to mention the constant disregard for second round picks he has shown over the past few years, Clowe, Antropov, etc. And now his constant disregard for FIRST ROUNDERS!!!!!!

Honestly, I'm one of those people that has become far to emotionally involved with this team. I was to young to remember 94', and have dedicated my life around this team for the past 10 years or so (I've been a fan forever, but since I REALLY understood what it means to be a fan).

I've missed parties, events, career possibilities. ****ed up on tests, missed family get togethers, etc. I'm at my limit and am giving this team another year or two to get it together. Then I might high tail it to california or carolina or something. Get season tickest for the cost of 3 games to the Rangers and live in a place where I"m not ****ed for every dollar I spend.
 
I'm having flashbacks to pre-lockout Rangers. Every player we get sucks balls here. MSL was a guy that I just couldn't see not being good. He's perfect for this system. He's a scrub now.

The key to happiness is lowering your standard for everything.

If your standard is the Rangers will make it to 76 points this year, you would be happy as a clam right about now.
 
AV needs to take the fine and rip Toronto a new one. Name one time this season this team came out on top on a controversial call under review. Getting jipped out of at least a point at this point in the season is unacceptable.

That doesn't pardon our guys from lack of finish not take anything away from Niemi who had a hell of a game, but I feel no justice from this game. We got hosed. Again.

The difference is, Nash has never played at the level Gaborik did for this team.

Gaborik's first season, he had 42g (5th in NHL) 44a 86pts (10th in NHL).

Gaborik's third season, he had 41g (5th in NHL) 35a 76pts (15th in NHL)

Nash has yet to even lead this team in points, let alone finish top-5 in NHL scoring two times. And his playoff performance was far worse than anything Gaborik ever brought to the table.

I'm easier on Nash than most, but him and Gaborik don't even belong in the same sentence.
