Team has been outhit, out battled, out skated, and out-worked by nearly every team we've played.

Keep Kreider, Stepan, Hags, Moore, and Zucc, and jettison the rest. Buyout Richards, Trade Nash, MSL, and Brassard. I couldn't possibly care less what happens with Pouliot. Boyle depends on the price.

I hate this team right now, but that's utter ********. Hell, that's not even true today. They outskate and outwork most teams, they just can't ****ing score. No reason to make **** up.

Plz retire sather so that you don't totally **** my rangers beyond repair. For the love of Christ I beg you plz go away you no good dirty **********!

I'm not even sure I can see this team scoring another goal this season.

Using my comprehensive predictive analytics software, the Rangers will actually yield a -2 goal out put over the next 13 games.

As was I. This board just hates it's stars. Nash and Hank are having off years. This team is still a playoff team and is a good team. I can't imagine what we would be if we had Nash MSL Brad and Hank all playing up to their abilities.

Come on man, if we had stars that didn't need quotation marks, we wouldn't be so frustrated! This is a good team? Really? Because I just don't see it. Good teams win games they need. This team has flashes of efficiency followed by long spells of hung over looking drudgery.

I saw a blurry version on my iPad. But that's not the point. Do that to theyanksor mets or gaints or jets and all hell would break loose.

Once upon a time their was a player named Marian Gaborik. Marian had a terrific first season followed by an abysmal 2nd season. Mr Gaborik was hated more than anyone by HFNYR even though he scored over 100 goals for the rangers. The rangers then trade for Rick Nash, who has a fantastic first season and carried the rangers offensively. A lot of people loved Rick. The rangers traded Gaborik, who was struggling, for depth, who came in a helped them make the playoffs. HFNYR was very happy that the lazy euro was traded. Then Rick Nash hits a brick wall in the playoffs. Rick then has a rough injury plagued second season, similar to Gaborik, and HF wants him traded as quickly as possible. The stories of Marian and Rick are very similar. The lesson to be learned by the overreaction of HFNYR, is you don't realize what you've got 'til it's gone.

And if you look at that trade, I think sending off Gaborik was a good move.

You're more right than you even realize. The problem is that the real lesson here is that neither of them is a star player anymore. Gaborik was at one point and Nash was at one point but they've both fallen off the map in similar ways.

This is just stupid....

Lol, that's stupid. That's the most brilliant post in here. This team needs a rebuild. It needed a semi-rebuild before MSL.

They aren't going anywhere. They're CERTAINLY not going anywhere with their "leaders" being Rick Ca$h, Brad Beaver **** Richards and Martin Ain't Louis, who all but admitted he came here to retire.

PP chances and they **** the bed...is tortorella coaching this team again?

Oh boy. You've just opened the gate for the Tortorella fan boys to crawl out from under their rocks and invade.

I defended Gaborik in his off year as well and I understand your stance on Nash. We have always disagreed on him, but I respect that and where you're coming from. For me, personally though, I have always disliked Nash. I was against acquiring him and have never been convinced by him. I dug up dozens of old posts of mine from before the Nash trade and even earlier, just criticizing him in Columbus, earlier on this year. Nash is simply a player that I can't support. He is a heartless, overrated player. But I want you to know that I respect the overall point you're making about the fickleness of these boards and respect your opinion as well, even thong it differs from mine. I'm not flip flopping on Nash though. I just can't stand him. Gaborik, in my opinion, was always a superior player and would have been an even better player with a tremendous legacy if his career hadn't been so impacted by injuries.

Little late for that. They just gave two early draft picks away.

Last fall when we were playing horribly and everyone was calling for a complete rebuild I was 50/50 but didn't think it was the right time.

Now? Yes. But it is too late.

The harsh reality is that Sather is in "win now" mode. So get ready for Dan Boyle in the offseason. We will not rebuild as long as he is here. We will have to endure a mediocre team dragged into the playoffs (hopefully) by Hank and watch the future slowly diminish and grow darker with each horrible FA signing and trade.

I have been OK with Nash up until today. He is a bum. Richards is even worse. MSL is exactly what I expected; another aging superstar coming to the Rangers to collect some checks and enjoy vacationing with the family in the summer. Not a care in the world about winning.

The rest of the roster, what is there to say? Some are slumping and some are doing well. It really doesn't matter when the three guys we look at for offense can't produce that.

Talking about Nash......I think the concussion changed him for good. **** Gaborik. The guy purposely tanked in his last season here because he was unhappy(only making 7 million). Hes now a mid level injury plagued sniper. That trade was great timing.

MZA needs to be off the powerplay. At least for a while. He's done nothing on the pp save turn the puck over since coming back.

Richards also needs to be off the pp. Just terrible out there.

Brassard line is not awful, but needs more size and more shooting. Get Kreider or Pouliot on that LW.

Maybe give Hagger a look. Wouldn't mind sitting zucc for a game. He's struggling.

For as "bad" of a season as Lundqvist is having, he has a .917SV% in 52GP, ranking him t-12th in the NHL and his 4 shutouts put him t-5th in the NHL.

I think people on here need to stop overreacting every time Lundqvist lets in a goal too. That GDT was hijacked by Lundqvist haters.

I sure am glad that Martin St. Louis is happy to be playing closer to home for the final 2 years of his career. Congratulations Marty! When Conor McDavid is in his 8th year as a Lightning with a couple cups, we will remember you fondly.
