I hate this team more than Satan himself. I hate them so ****ing badly I want to yell it from every mountain top. I hate them so much. I literally haven't hated a team this ****ing much since pre-lockout. Get some more shots on goal mother****ers, that's all you're ****ing good for. Then 2 games where some shots might have actually worked you don't show up against the Canes and Wild. Seriously, I have no ****ing team anymore.
I missed the first period but I didn't even think they played bad. Got a ton of chances. Niemi was awesome but if this team knew how to elevate a puck, we all might be singing a different tune. Not a bad game, just frustrating as hell.
Did St. Louis forget how to play hockey or something? If he doesn't get his act together right now, that trade is gonna **** us.
We play like that the next 14 games, we're in the playoffs with some comfort to boot.

Once upon a time their was a player named Marian Gaborik. Marian had a terrific first season followed by an abysmal 2nd season. Mr Gaborik was hated more than anyone by HFNYR even though he scored over 100 goals for the rangers. The rangers then trade for Rick Nash, who has a fantastic first season and carried the rangers offensively. A lot of people loved Rick. The rangers traded Gaborik, who was struggling, for depth, who came in a helped them make the playoffs. HFNYR was very happy that the lazy euro was traded. Then Rick Nash hits a brick wall in the playoffs. Rick then has a rough injury plagued second season, similar to Gaborik, and HF wants him traded as quickly as possible. The stories of Marian and Rick are very similar. The lesson to be learned by the overreaction of HFNYR, is you don't realize what you've got 'til it's gone.

Even if he plays amazing, unless we win a cup, that trade is going to **** us.
What I've seen is this, he's had about 3-4 passes that would have been assists with a competent finisher.
He's had two goals avoided by great saves. He hasn't been great, but let's not overstate the issue.

So, St. Louis just wanted to be closer to home so he could relax more, I guess. Maybe he figured he'll just play out his contract in NY and retire? Just gotta get that final few paychecks first, so I'll demand a trade closer to home? I don't know. I liked MSL his whole career but comes here and it could be anyone wearing that jersey with his name on it. Nothing stands out as special like it had for YEARS, even when he was on abysmal Tampa teams on years past when they stunk and had no Stamkos. MSL always looked good. Now, suddenly, he's completely mediocre. It's baffling.
I hate Rick Nash. He's among my 5 least favorite players in the NHL.
This team is just hard to care about. Not the Rangers (which is why it hurts). Just this roster. Who likes this roster? This group blows.
