@Better Call Maul

Black on Black Ecoboost Stang w/ tech package. Super happy with it so far. Good to know that I can get even more out of it from what you suggest

I have a F150 Tremor Ecoboost (for our housing projects, personal work truck) - fun engine. It is 400hp stock, but with so many tuner options out there it has another 40-50 just detuned for whatever reason. I think once I’ve put a ton of mileage on it I’ll mess about with some tuners

Livernois is usually pretty good. There’s one for another 125hp just with a 93-94 octane tune. I already run 94 on this monstrosity. Gets great throttle response with 94. Noticed a big of a drag in 87-89, 91-93 is decent.

As far as domestics go, I like Ford. Not a fan of Dodge at all. I associate douches to Dodges.

Btw - that mustang must be fun af to drive. I wish ford would figure out a better infotainment than the Sync shit.

Damn you got a realll beast there. Most google images show an single cab which must be extra light with all the hp. And the interior looks pretty bomb. Reminds me of the F150 Saleen I saw at the dealer I bought my pony from. Really interested to hear about how it goes when you start tweakin it.

My older brother recommended a K&N air filter as the first thing add.

I'm pretty new to muscle cars. I've been pushing an 07' Lexus ES 350 for a while. Honestly it's even more luxurious than my Mustang. With a modest 280hp. I love my Lexus but it was time.

Lol funny thing about Dodge, I wanted a R/T Charger with the V8. But it just wasn't in the cards. I loved the idea of a 4door muscle car from a practicality standpoint. I f***ing love the Ford though, I'm over the moon. It's a beast to drive. I used to worry about people being like "iTs aN eCObOoSt iTs nOt a ReAl mUsTang" But after having driven one, they can eat shit.

Interesting anecdote about using over 90 octane. The dealer said I didn't need it, but I asked them to put that in it anyway. Who know's if they did lol. But I'll see on my next couple fill ups if it makes a difference

Drive around with the different octanes and you’ll know.

This tremor is a dual cab, 4 door. The V8 was enticing, 400hp NA has a lot of room to mess with but only 410lbs of torque wasn’t enough to draw me away from the eco boost that had 500lbs of torque. I needed it to haul ass with a heavy truck bed of textiles and lumber. It hauls ass and the interior is luxury so it’s a fun one to just piss about in.

I will always love the Mustang for a muscle car. Always. Which year is yours?

I think the only exterior mods you should do are these lights in the grill (RTR):

Large%20Image_10629.jpg

The ecoboost haters don’t understand a damned thing. It’s a reliable set up and Ford has used it in multiple vehicles and holds up well.

Sick get with the dual cab for sure. I don't blame you for passing up the V8 for all that torque, that's a metric ass load of torque. You ever put that thing on a strip? I know you said it's a work truck., which is flex in it's own right. But I gotta ask. My Mustang is a 2022, drove it off the lot with 108 miles, they told me it was going to be 58 but whatever.

Oh my f*** that's a sick grill mod. Right now it has the actual blackout package with black pony logos and black alloy wheels, I'll get a pick soon.

It’d be fun to if I did the livernois 93 octane tune which would push the truck to 525hp, a few more mods could get it to push 600+ but then it’s just me letting ego get the best of me lol. For now it’s quick off the line for a heavy truck and it’s comfy. I really debated the Raptor but it wasn’t practical at all for what I needed it for.

Nothing like your stang for power to weight ratio, if you can keep the treads straight you’re going to rip past a lot of stock muscle cars at red lights and at the drag, curious how many it’d kill just bone stock. The torque to power ratio and weight of the stang is all kinds of fun. A cold air intake will definitely help and it’ll let you really hear those twins spool up.

Also, great call on the all black. That thing must look ruthless at night. Your neighbors must hate you when you do the cold starts lol.

Why eat a fake ass version of a real thing.
I feel like there are plenty of reasons to like eating meat(taste, protein, etc), and plenty of reasons not to actually eat meat(health, morality, etc). Eating substitutes as the logical crossroads of those makes perfect sense to me even though I don't actually care for the taste/texture of the meat substitutes I've tried. Personally if they can ever get meat substitutes to catch up in taste, texture, and price I wouldn't be opposed to at least avoiding the mass farm meat industry products.

Yeah texture is the most difficult thing for me when it comes to food as well. I tried putting tofu in a sous vide and it ended up way too mushy for my liking. But baking it lets it end up a lot more firm.

I'm actually curious to see if these meat substitutes are healthier than meat or not. I know tofu is super nutrient dense, but I'm not sure about whether these impossible burgers are actually healthier or if they're just not meat.

They 100% aren't.

Tofu has been around for 2000 years so it's fine. Nutrient dense and low calorie.

I have IBS and meat is usually fine with me, that’s unfortunate mate.

It's fine. I don't really mind not eating meat and honestly don't eat a ton of substitutes.

Mostly when I'm eating out and I much prefer like "homemade" burgers versus Impossible or whatever.

I know next to nothing about tuning kits, but pushing that bad boy up to 525hp would be bonkers in the best of ways. Damnnn debating using the Rap as a work truck? My guy flexing harder than Chris Bumstead over here.

My pops just scooped an 01' Miata with 60k miles on it, it's a stick too. Now that thing has excellent power to weight ratio. But the Mustang is excellent in it's own right. My pony has a sport mode, drag mode, and track mode. Haven't used them yet, but I'm quite curious. I gap most people I come by on the road, within reason lol. Not trying to be that guy bobbing and weaving through traffic.

A cold air intake you say? That sounds f***in sick. And I love hearing the turbo's already, getting them louder would be dope. It looks like Darth Vader on the road at night. Luckily the neighbors are a couple acres away haha, I gotta drive past em to work though at like 630am lol.

Miata’s are one of the cheapest cars you can turn into a track monster and sleeper ride. It’s just light as shit and has so much out there to tune it and mod it to be a killer.

People you never race - A bloke in a Honda revving beside you, anyone that dumb has something he’s not showing you, like a f***ing laptop that’s rocking a tuner that will make you take the first turn to hide your hurt feelings in an alleyway. And Miata’s with mismatching body panels, you know that thing has some shit that is going to embarrass you.

Simple mods that don’t f*** with the ride is best I think, unless you’re a track bloke or drag strip.

A Mustang that looks like Vader at night, nice. You know you can get light mods to get the red lights in the front and go full Vader mode. Cold air intake will at least get that “breathing” with the turbo more noticeable. Also depending on which one, you can add fuel economy and upto 25-50hp.

Horsepower means nothing if your ride weighs a lot. It’s like blokes that drive Range Rovers bragging about the 500 ponies it has, yeah and it weighs more than an F350, heavy ass soccer mom mobile.

It’s like the folks that buy gluten free shit. They “think” it’s healthy but when they see the fat content it really isn’t. Replacing the usual fat with other fat and other binding agents jacks that shit up. Back when my dipshit doctor thought I had celiac, I had cut out gluten for almost 4-5yrs before they realized I just had a wheat sensitivity and needed to eat less of the shitty North American over processed everything for breads that are too harsh with gluten and sugars vs the old world breads from Italy etc where it’s not that crazy with that bs - I ate some gluten free bread and cookies etc and realized how fatty they were and just avoided the gluten free breads and pastries during that time.

That impossible burger stuff is just a meat substitute, by no means some healthier option or anything.

Yeah most of them are worse health-wise I think. It's the same shit that happens where everything is non-fat and just loads up sugar instead. Just find the new buzz words.

Yeah it’s like the zero sugar shit. Sucralose is added into it, I mean yeah no sugar but that stuff isn’t good for you either.

Was it you who said you read brothers karamozov?

If not ignore, if it was someone else than this:

Picked up TBK to have as my summer book since it was so big, here I'm half through it in just over a month... I'll need another summer book. Is there a better (if possible =]) book by dostoyevski or similar book from satre.
(crime and punishment?)

Crime and Punishment is good, if you like TBK, you'll like that. My favorite Dostoyevsky is probably The House of the Dead, which is his autobiographical novel about his life in a Siberian penal colony. It's not his best work, I just have a nostalgic fondness for it. Otherwise, if you're into the big long Russian novel thing, might as well get into Anna Karenina or War and Peace, IMO.

Yea it's dope little race care with the drop top. Looking forward to learning manual in it. I'll never race and riced out vehicles, those dudes got nothing to lose I swear.

Oof those red lights would be extra sick. I'm not sure how legal they are in my county though. My county is anal about vanity color lights for cars. Adding even more Hp would make me nut, I already love this thing.

Ranges are boring af, never really understood the appeal from a performance perspective. Thanks for the proper welcome to the Ford fam

Never heard of. Interesting. Thank you.
Is there a preferred translation ? And go for the uncensored version I'd expect?

RR are idiotic. They break down a ton and are just status rides. I always like the odd vehicles and I've always had a soft spot for Ford's. Especially mustangs. I know a bloke in Seattle that has a 2019 Ford flex Eco, all black and he's got a 93 octane tuner on it and this thing destroys those idiotic performance Cherokees on the drag strip. Flex are like a grocery getter on roids just bone stock. To take it from 365hp stock to what he has it as - 700hp is not only hilarious but pretty bad ass.

Stuck in a situation now with this dang privacy fence.
Neighbors who had existing chainlink fences zip tied portions of the 6' cedar dog earred panel TO the EXISTING fence and it looks fine.
I did it that (being quick and much easier) and I'm worried the weight will crush the chain-link fence.... so after DRAGGING and lifting 10 panels of 6x8 into my yard (renting the truck and all) I think it's time to call someone to put posts in (not that I can't but I dont have a blasted truck or hauling) so I concede to hiring someone.

Problem is now... I called a few who said "we only use our own materials"
HUH!? It's done. It's here. go bring your posts and put it up.... ridiculous.

Now I have to find someone who will put it up that isn't able to charge me their prices for their mats...
