Lol at Jets fans thinking their team is full of angels.
No penalties on each play. Bandaid Kaprizov.Says the team that has twice injured Kaprizov, by those wonderful skill players, Stanley, and Dillon.
I'll do it for league minimum. But you don't need to be an expert to know when punishments aren't curbing someone's behavior.Do you by any chance have a history committing violent acts in the NHL? Because if so, we could try making you the next head of the DoPS.
What?No penalties on each play. Bandaid Kaprizov.
Meanwhile, Hartman suspended and then fined repeatedly.
Hence, the name Weasel Hartman. He'll get taken out soon by any number of teams.
Cross checks to the back aren't dirty? JFC, what does he have to do, pull out a gun?It is such a weird take by Wild fans. Yes Kaprizov got injured but neither plays were "dirty" plays. They were just hockey plays and the guy got injured.
When Connor got hit by Strome this year and we lost him, I know the majority of us were not calling for revenge and sending death threats to Strome for that hit. It wasn't a good play but I don't think he was out their trying to injure him. It was just a fast hockey play that ended up badly for Connor.
I get it though. Back in 2018 the Jets had a big bully team. Buff abused teams and I mean you could go down that lineup and see guys like Trouba,Lowry,Chairot,Myers,Tanev etc.. We abused a lot of teams that year and we especially hurt you guys then. Ever since then its like your whole team has taken on the characteristics of someone who won't let that happen again even when there is really nothing to get yourself worked up for.
Now you employ a real scumbag with a long history of trying to hurt people and he gets caught on a mic SAYING IT. Not to Dillon or Lowry or whoever but to little 21 year old Cole Perfetti one of the least likely to ever play physical let alone dirty. Just pure cowardice. I wouldn't want to play for that team no wonder they had to bring in Maroon or Middleton or whoever else they will bring in because you are likely going to take a beating for that dirt bags actions
What?
6'7" Stanley sat on him, when it was obvious that he was in terrible position, then Dillon cross checked him twice in the back, causing him to buckle on the 2nd, and has been out ever since. Maybe you would rather watch Dillon and Stanley play hockey - for me, it's Kaprizov, because he actually has speed, skill, talent, and creativity, while they have... nothing. They are bad hockey players who are tasked with taking talented players out of the game. It's on the NHL that they are allowed to get away with it.
The result is a boring product.

The Wild only get into it with the Jets and Colorado this bad, maybe the Blues too at times where Spurgeon of all people got in on it a few year back. There’s bad blood with Dallas but it’s very recent or very old depending on how you look at it. It’s very obvious where it stems from for the Wild, they have had their best players injured either right before the playoffs or during them in each of their first round defeats. No ref calls in the world are going to take that emotional frustration away, it’s human nature to feel wronged and lash out whether deserved or not.Jets and Wild games get rough (Kunin on Little, Morrissey on Staal, Stanley on Kaprizov though that looked accidental, Hartman on Ehlers, and then Dillon and Kaprizov and the latest Hartman high stick), but it's really only the Wild that this seems to happen against for the Jets. Only the Leafs and Habs would probably share the Wild's attitude and both of those stem from an individual incident and not a pattern of rough stuff both ways.
There not dirty they happen a hundred times a game. Dirty is intentionally high sticking someone to the face
Nearly ever game guys get crosschecked like that. When it gets overzealous the refs will call it. Not intent to injure. What?

You mean this isn't dirty? Really?

I see 100x worse in front of nets 50x a game in this league. And so do you. Was it an attempt to injury. No. He is no Hartman.
True that, intentional high stick to the face is always dirty.
Luckily the angelic Jets never would do that, let alone their current captain:
It is such a weird take by Wild fans.
Maybe if we get a doll and they show us where the 2018 jets hurt them we can move on?I get it though. Back in 2018 the Jets had a big bully team. Typical DoP(e)SBecause it's the Department of "Player Safety."
No, because that's not part of ... the code.
You mean this isn't dirty? Really?
Yikes. Accidental follow through high sticking is the best you got?
I didn’t think Lowry was an angel, but I do now if that’s the worst you could dig up! If that’s the worst you could dig up on the jets than they are angels - breeding a lady byng award winning culture of excellence for sportsmanship every day!
It's literally the exact same "accidentally on purpose" type of play as the Hartman on Perfetti. Only difference is Hartman's play is more of an agitator rat-type behavior, whereas Lowry's swing has more force behind it. Both are shitty plays.
Lowry definitely knows what he's doing here and you have to have some serious blinders on if you actually believe that.
(You'll accuse me of semantics again, but it's also definitely not follow through unless you think Lowry is shooting the puck there)
Even if all that is true, the worst you got is a standard 2 minute high sticking penalty. Not even a 4 for blood! Come on man!
#ladybyngwinnersforbestsportsmanship!
Cool, I guess you're fine with Hartman's high sticking since it wasn't even a penalty to begin with.
But seeing as you can't even keep your arguments consistent, I'm dipping out of this. You have my permission to commence the circlejerk on Jets' angelic status.
