1-0 Marlies after 1.
Chippy game.
Garand in goal.
1:26 left on a Wolf Pack PP to start the 2nd.
Toronto has the edge in play.
Rempe playing with the cage for the 2nd game.

Matt Rempe with a goal with just under 10 minutes left in the 2nd.
Assist to Pixar and Trivigno.
Belzile with a goal from Othmann and Nash.
2-2 with under 9 minutes to go in the 2nd.
Up until those two goals, Hartford was flat.
Adam Edstrom grabs his own rebound and puts a wrap around in.
Hartford 3-2 after 2. Edstrom goal assisted by Karl Henriksson and Connor Makay (I think)?

Wolf Pack lose 4-3.
Garand could only be faulted for the third goal against.
Alex Thomas commented on that Rempe is at his best when he plays Center. I agree. Remember when he was sent down towards the end of training camp that Laviolette listed Rempe being good at face-offs among other parts of Matt’s game that he liked. Through most of camp he played on a line with Karl Henriksson.
Berard and Edstrom with another strong game. Also Henriksson and Othmann was noticeable.

had noticed Cairns wasn't in Cyclones lineup Saturday
then saw this today
Cairns had been PTO'd and in lineup w Pack a few games this season
going to Maine does not mean Pack could not bring him in again if need on D

and a day or 2 later, Matt Cairns traded again, now by Maine(ECHL) to Indy(ECHL)

Louie Domingue just having an off night.
It happens.
Usually a solid goalie.
I missed the game but just saw the goal replays and you are correct, Domingue was bad tonight. Two bad rebounds leading to goals. He's been very solid through the season. But Hillman and Mackey errors lead to two other easy goals and Robertson didn't adequately cover forward on a fifth goal. Robertson did make a great pass to Scanlin on the first goal and made a good move to create a lane for his shot that resulted in a goal.

Bridgeport is a really bad team, 18 points behind Hartford and last in the division. Hartford should not have lost to them. Hartford is in a slump. The team is now 11 points behind Hershey and only 6 points ahead of 7th place Lehigh Valley although Hartford has two games in hand.

FWIW Pack recalled DiGiacinto Tuesday,

They play tonight

NYR have NOT been carrying a 13th F
NYR may need to recall a F for tonight?
OR perhaps more likely, NYR want to take a spare F for the upcoming Florida weekend games

Pack up 1-0 after 1. The Springfield defenseman whiffs on a pass behind the net that Bobby T picks up and finds Elson all alone in front for the goal.

Some notes from the game:

Garand in goal

Same six defensemen but Hillman-Broulliard who have been terrible as a pair broken up with Mackey and Broulliard paired along with Hillman and Holloway.

Up front, Nash out week to week, hurt at the end of the last game. Korczak out day to day with personal issue. As Swede noted DiGiacinto recalled to give the Pack 12 forwards. The lines are:

Edstrom-Belzile-Berard
Othmann-Henriksson-Blidh
Trivigno-Lesch- Elson
Pekar-Rempe-Digiacinto.

Pack only have one more game this week so perhaps the two forward scratches will be back without missing much time.

Pack lose another 3-1. I did not watch but just checked the scoring plays.

In the second period Jacob Vrana tips in a shot from the point. It looks like Hallowell faIled to cover Vrana crossing in front of the net.

Springfield breaks the tie in the third when the team breaks in 3-2 and Trivigno doesn't get back in time to pick up the open Springfield forward. Garand slides across the goal and gets a glove on the blast but can't stop it.

A Springfield empty netter seals the game.

It looks like the defense was better tonight but without Brodzinski and now Nash the team didn't generate enough chances.
