Seriously, it's not that hard. Kris Knoblouch. It's like Chuck Knoblauch...only with Kris.

finally looked this guy up ...

yeah, like Chuck, NOT as typed above 8^) ...
Elite Prospects - Kris Knoblauch Team Staff Profile

does seem a promising candidate
just 40 (will be 41 by hockey season)
with 5 seasons (1 partial...) as OHL HC
2015-2016 : OHL Coach of the Year (Matt Leyden Trophy)
2016-2017 : OHL Champion, U20 WJC Silver Medal

last 2 as NHL AC w PF, Flyers have released him:

Great great hire. Said it awhile back this guy should have been handed a blank check a while ago. Glad to see patience paid off and they got a great coach here. Prob best coach we’ve had in Hartford in Jesus I don’t even know how long. Gernander was always a disaster and that goes back years.

We’ve had a mess down there for a long long time.

What r the odds Glass and/or Ortmeyer will be his assistants?

Never understood why the Pack only had 1 assistant last year (bleepin Joey Mormina) instead of 2.

Those two were hired for different positions so they probably won't be AHL assistant coaches.
I assume Knoblauch will get to bring in his own assistants but perhaps the Rangers have some ideas as well

sorry O, but this reminds me so much of that young reporter pressing Torts about why/how he had only one assistant (Sully) behind the bench, and Torts retorting that's how we do it here, and implying, if not outright asking, the guy whether 'did you do any prep work?' before he had attended the presser
(sorry i couldn't come up with effective Google query to track down a related URL)

Hahaha, possible, but I'm genuinly interested at the reasoning behind some decisions. I believe the highly successful season the Pack had the last year has a number of people questioning multiple decisions and numerous "cus its done that way here".

Torts and Sully are above and beyond and above again over other coaching choices... A McCambridge and a Mormina don't even register as a blip on the radar in comparison.

I guess I'm just really really tired of watching a tire fire Pack for years now, and with a promising roster for 2019-20, I hope enough and equal importance is given to the coaching staff etc. to bring back a winning culture.

hat tip to nyr2k2, or whoever it was,
who interpreted Rookie Camp roster listing of Dmowski and LZG as on Hartford contracts, as being meaningful,
I was sure it was just allusion to their (expired) ATOs

Looks like McBride was the only one not to get a contract.
