The Coyotes left Kyle Turris in the AHL for a full good season after his sloppy first NHL year without calling him up- but I doubt NYR show that kind of patience with Chytil. He will be back soon.

Great idea Larry, have Chytil play 3 in 3 nights with the third in the nhl.

Here’s a thought, keep Chytil down another month. Let him dominate, and do so consistently before bringing him up. Have him play tall of those important minutes.

Well, the tweet was from yesterday, so if he did this last night, they could have called him up right then. They won't do it now.

Really good start for the Pack this year. Good goaltending--a better defense--more secondary scoring. Chytil's getting his confidence together. He has 8 points in 6 games and Lettieri has 7 in 6 games. DiGiuseppe second night in a row he gets the game winner. Beleskey's even playing pretty well.

Keane looks solid. Lindgren too. Geertsen, while clearly being an AHL guy looks like a vet there. Nothing more than that though.

They might have finally gotten the right kind of players for Hartford. The AHL vets are actually positive for the team.

what a silly click-bait-opportunity post with the first part. Matz, you know that was posted by Brooks BEFORE Friday game

but i fully agree with the second part, 10-25 autumn games in the AHL, at a young 20, has no downside for Chytil, play him lots in all situations for these couple months

Only have watched a few games so not best person to ask but Started out the OT today with Chytil and DiGiuseppe so coach definitely feels he has. Also has 3 goals already I believe

Chytil seems to have found a nice groove in Hartford. I'd let him stay there for a bit and keep building up his confidence before asking him to come up and fix our second line.

So conflicted on Chytil. He has played really well and probably deserves the call up but at same time would love him to continue at this pace with Hartford.

I did not catch the date of that post from Larry, it was posted here just now so appeared more recent. But still, as you said no down side for Chytil being down there. Howden could really use minutes he’d get in the minors.

Personally, I’d let Chytil stay in Hartford for a while longer. They didn’t send him down to work on his offense, so let him keep getting defensive reps and flexing those muscles
