Binghamton scores 1 -1.

The Pack gets pinned in their own zone for extended time and Kravtsov has a bad turnover trying to be a little cute on a zone exit. Backdoor pass, in the net.

Binghamton scores again on the PP. 2-1
Brett Seney beats Huska high glove from the left circle. Seemed pretty clear sighted, probably wants that one back.

Ugh, seems like Kravtsov is in the doghouse after that. Down 3-1 now..

Binghamton scores again on the next shift. 3-1
Pack imploding a bit. Huska and D over commit to a dumped puck and a Dev wins the race and feathers a backhand to the slot for an open net.

If Shesty is dominant in the AHL to start the year I wonder how NYR plan to get around not having this kid see serious NHL minutes until he's almost 26?

Wish they'd throw Kravtsov back in there and let him play through some mistakes. Rip him all you want after the game in practice but it's frustrating to see him pulled from the game every time he makes a mistake.

B-Devils up 3-1 over the Pack at the end of the 1st.

Hartford was all over Binghamton for the first 10 minutes, but the Devs started simplifying and forcing turnovers to turn the tide.

As Ola mentioned earlier, Chytil looks much more assertive and deliberate at this level. Letting him marinate in the AHL might be the best medicine for now.

Kravtsov was actually playing well until the turnover. Didn't see ice the rest of the period. Let's hope the coach gives him a chance to redeem himself.

this is ridiculous

By trading Georgiev who they can't/won't protect.

how can't they protect him when he is the only goalie we need to protect? igor is exempt and hank will be a pending UFA. as it stands now not only will we protect georgiev if he is here but we also will need to go out and sign another veteran to meet the requirements of players to expose.

Chytil was also robbed on the PP. Almost put in a rebound and Comrie came across and stopped him. He looks good. Have to think that call up is happening soon.

Kravtsov had an opportunity to get a pass on a rush but Beleskey didn't hit him and drove the net instead. He looks engaged too, as @Ola mentioned. Wonder if Chytil going north will slot him into a role on PP1.

Chytil ripped one off the bar after blowing by the defense down the left wing. Went over the glove and off the iron.

Also, the announcers are saying Huska's name with a long U sound. Didn't think that was how it was pronounced
