I was pissed off with the bollig sucker punch as well. Goodness knows what a punch like that would have done to hossa. Don't worry, if bollig had a canucks jersey on, we'd never hear the end of it.
Neither Sedin has ever taken a hit like that when they have a history of concussions. Calling it a dive or embellishment is embarrassing to our fanbase. It was either a legitimate injury or an act made out of caution.

Which is why the name of Shanahan's position "Senior Vice-President of Player Safety" is BS. More like Brand Safety. This is also why the mental health movement by the Canucks and other Canadian teams didn't start from the top of the NHL, but from our team.

IIRC, he turned around to Morrison - who was doubled over - and started berating him for faking, saying he barely touched him.
When Morrison straightened up and showed Shanahan his new (toothless) smile, Shanahan was tripping over himself to apologize.
The referee came to the bench after the next shift - Morrison's teeth in hand - and also apologized for missing it.

If Wiese had pulled a Hossa then Bollig would be gone for quite a few. Non-star, didn't go down, they won't do anything, sadly.
Any time the Sedin's take big hits they don't lie there. It is fact.
Hossa wasn't knocked out, and walked off on his own power. Hopefully he isn't concussed again, even if he was get up.
A concussion is a concussion, Daniel Sedin took an elbow 100x worse than what Hossa took last night, he got up and skated to the bench.
Im just not a fan of lying on the ice. If you're not unconscious or paralyzed get up. Karlsson severed his effin achilles and skated off.

Knowing Coach Q's whining press conferences I bet it shares similarities to his last over blown comments:
"I think we witnessed probably the worst hit in the history of sports there, Hansen ruined a good hockey player and absolutely destroyed him. ... Never seen anything like it."
