There are definitely very few. While not an OA, Sean Day is another because he was granted exceptional status and could have played in the AHL at age 19 after completing 4 years in the OHL. Instead he played a 5th OHL season, which is usually everyone else’s OA year.

Hamiltons set play on the 5v3 strikes again on Hayes goal.

I'm surprised more teams don't use it.

I keep hearing Ryan Wintertons name in trade talk.

Does anybody know if he's even healthy? I heard around Christmas, but that was a few months ago...

He's a guy I would move. Conditions on some extra picks if he does come back for his OA (inlikely imo, small chance because his injuries have killed his development time).

Say him at dinner before the break. Looks good, gave generic answers when someone asked him how he felt... (I could go off on a tangent regarding fans not leaving the kids alone when they are clearly visiting with their parents for a meal).

It's crazy, he is 19 yrs old and has only played 90 OHL games (excluding playoffs) because of covid and injuries.

He has been around the rink more, which tells me that he must be getting close.
 
Well, I will give Niagara this. They did a really good job as keeping their slot clean and making sure anyone who approached it had a hard time. That said, they seemed completely lost once they got into out offensive zone, outside the power play.

Glad too see some scoring outside our overagers tonight.

Really bad strategy by Niagara at the end of the game. They should have pulled their goalie with 2 mins left while each team had a player in the box. They waited until the Hamilton penalty expired and then pulled their goalie which only made it a 5v5 because it was a Hamilton PP.

Hamilton passed up a lot of shooting oppurtunities looking for a perfect play. Hayes in particular passed up shots that a goal scorer shouldn't.

Overall I thought that it was a very sloppy game. Didn't think that Morrisons pt streak would end vs Niagara...
 
Wasn’t sure if we would have any healthy scratched OAs but that’s not the case tonight. I believe this is the second consecutive game Mississauaga has healthy scratched James Hardie.

Mo is only 16 pts away from the franchise scoring lead, but only 4 games left before the OA deadline. Going to miss him once he moves on.

Ya, he's my favourite Bulldog ever. He just does everything right. Makes his teammates better and gets the most that he can out of his talent.
 
That game yesterday was a complete crapshoot. Textbook case when the refs "Let them play" and don't call anything, the game quickly goes off the rails.

Good to see us get a W on the last game of the year.

I’m going to miss Grushnikov if/when he gets dealt. Just a solid all round player. I think Dallas is going to get a good one in the future.
