This kind of a hit is one of the reasons why I don't want my kids to go in to hockey.
Don't blame you, a lot of brutal hits to the head out there and at times seemingly little to no respect for the opposing players.

Why would it be called? His foot was on the ice, body to body contact
That's pretty much a textbook headshot but TSN drives the agenda on this stuff. If they ignore it, it never happened.
No it wasnt called. A bit of a jump, but kind of almost clean I think anyway. It didnt hit the head.

Yes because TSN controls IIHF suspensions.
It is truly amazing that cognitive dissonance can disqualify someone from believing the truth, especially when it stares you in the face in the form of video evidence. blatant hit to the head. think about how you would feel if that was forsling on marner....jeez
He forced his body up but his skate was on the ice at the time of the hit
And ? That was full body contact

that's a ******* clean hit boy! woo good on Marner, kind of leaned/jumped into him.. but wtf the guy wanted to make an impact, he's smallish. Looks good to me, Swedish player didn't complain at all after the hit was made so take that as you will.
Hello...he jumped at least a foot in the air with both feet to shoulder the kids face.should have been an easy penalty
If you slow that Marner hit down, you can see his elbow hits that guys chest first. It is definitely a two minute charging penalty but I don't think it's a headshot, especially not a blindside hit like the one against Nylander.
Marner literally jumped into the guy's head... His feet are like a foot off the ground. How the hell are you defending this? If Marner were the recipient of this hit you'd be crying bloody murder.

Who said he was a superstar? He's a very good player who needs to add strength and needs maturing. This kid gets more flack than Strome, it's ridiculous.
The whole team ain't meshing, perhaps the bigger ice surface is screwing their game. Or maybe, just maybe, other teams are that much better. I knew Swedes would dominate with returning players.
