funny TSN and guys over here are basically kissing the Swedes feet for loving the game, for loving the WJHC lol.

Well a great bunch does, too. I don't watch regular hockey at all, NHL, SHL, any of it. WJC is just so special. It's the stars of tomorrow, giving their all to get their first big trophy. Mostly, anyways.

I love the fact that there are a lot of sloppy, junior mistakes going on. It just brings a dynamic into the game that doesn't show in pro matches, where defense is drilled to perfection. Anything can happen, but skill matters... can't explain it all, but you know what I mean. Love it :handclap:

Anything is possible.

If not likely.

And his reward for that was what? Being benched for most of the third in both of the last two games and never getting a chance to play with better linemates despite showing up in every game so far.

That's on the coach

Some of these players need to improve their individual performances but until they do he needs to play the people who are playing well.

Canada got screwed multiple times on penalties this game.

it's funny how this is become Marner's fault..Where in the ....is Virtanen and others? Marner is making plays and he scored today...Marner is far from the problem for Canada. Goaltending, coaching, and overall experience is costing this team. In tough situations they don't look poised at all, this is where the veterans should come in..but like I said, some of them are invisible.

I think they should ban TSN and all media form the CAN players, i think that also plays a huge part.

Strome needs to skate harder and use his body more. He should not be out on a 4 on 4

Marner had a good game..

I think they need to be on the same line. strome and Marner each need linemate with higher hockey IQs.

Not trying to start a fight, but rather, am legitimately curious as to why all the Canadians here freak out over losses?

I was born in Canada, but moved to the States at a really young age and live and breathe USA hockey. Sweden got us in a game we outplayed them, no disrespect meant, but we out shot them 44-22 and carried much of the play, but ran into a hot goaltender and had some bad luck. We probably should have won, but didn't, and I am fine with that. Sometimes you just need to tip your cap to the other team, say "Good game guys, you got us :)" and move on.

But it seems like every time Canada loses, it turns into prospect fights and tribalistic homerism.

No one can win every game and losses happen all the time, sometimes bad and//or unexpected ones.

Isn't it an obvious headshot? And with a jump?

Headshots are very hard to call when the hit comes from the north south as the entire front of the body is in contact. It's the hit from the blind side that can really cause injury. Similar to the hit on letang a few weeks ago that caused a concussion.

It's the same when Canada wins, people can't get over their hate of a team and separate that from a player.

People hate some of these players simply because of the team that drafted them...they haven't even played a game for that team yet.

It's more Canadian fans hating other Canadian teams. Some people will be sad if Canada won but the prospect they hated was the reason they won. I am dead serious.
