There's a guy in Vancouver, ex-Montrealer' who opened up a place specializing in poutine, something he apparently first started having at Toe Blakes Tavern back in the day long before it became popularized, exported across Canada & into the States.... I'd imagine you'd also find that staple of old taverns at Blakes.... giant jar of pickled eggs'.

Probably cant since the color of the puck contrasts clearer against the white ice than the blue (goal reviews). But the blue ice is a cooler look....

^^^ Fabulous... even managed to include the inimitable Joe Junkin!.... a hard luck case if ever there was one.... who played all of 7mins & 58 seconds in the NHL replacing Cheevers late in a game in December 68, the Bruins hammering Chicago 10-5 (Dave Dryden & Jack Norris); Orr scoring a Hat Trick & adding 2 Assists.... Junkin stopping all of the shots Chicago fired at him..... He was in tough behind Cheevers & Johnston despite having an outstanding Training Camp in 69, assigned to the minors followed by a couple of very serious injuries including one to the eye that very nearly ended his career entirely. Died a few years back of Cancer.
