Bouwmeester is a multi time Olympic athlete, played in multiple world cups as well. Calling him Edvinssons floor means you either dont remember how good Bouwmeester actualy was, or your expectations are out of whack
Yeah Edvinsson was a pick and development since such who should have those expectations.

Here is the TOI through the first 6 games for the Griffins, Edvinsson playing big minutes, hopefully some forward prospects start earning some more minutes as well.

Huge win by the Griffins tonight, beating the Admirals 2-1 and outshooting them 37-16

Colorado did outshoot them at all of the first 4 games.

Last 4 games Griffins have outshot their opponents 3-1. Maybe the season is turning around. System is more familiar and Mazur is probably a big help.

Söderblom (Lombardi, Mazur) did score. Is that a line ?

Grand Rapids only gave up 4 shots in the third period. That in itself is a huge improvement.

Mazur is going to eat.
Too good for the AHL.

I think in general things are going to improve…
I don’t think this is a terrible team.

I think Mazur is going to show people he should have been ranked higher in our prospect polls, but we will see if that is the case soon enough.
Mazur became top-5 for me soon after he was drafted, currently #3. Y’all playing catch up.

I haven't had the pleasure of watching the games, so how is Cossa looking? I see his stats are very strong in his 4 games. Almost identical to the other goalie Michael Hutchinson, who has a ton of NHL experience.

I'm going to take this as a very positive sign for the young tender in his first foray into full-time pro hockey.

Here are the lines for tonight's game. Johansson and Tuomisto are still out. Cossa is getting the start in the net. Looking forward to watching that 2nd line with Lombardi, they were dynamic on the ice last game.

Cossa has been great this season and has calmed his game down in the net. He's been steady so far

7-3 lol. Cossa conceded 6.

Lombardi scored his first pro goal, and fights galore at the end. Mastrosimone heavily involved in the scuffles.

1+0 simply isn’t good enough. It’s concerning. We can make excuses for the kid but he’s an 8th overall pick in his D+2. He needs to be better than this
You could argue that outside of maybe Hirose/Gettinger not a single Griffin has a statline that's "good enough".
I maintain that an adjustment period is understandable. If the team was better and he had collected a few garbage assists people probably wouldn't be concerned at all even if his actual play was exactly the same.

I understand where you’re coming from but Hirose and Gettinger aren’t top 10 picks. Hopefully he picks it up asap
