They just need some chocolate and cheese. No way they give up this game by fatigue.Swiss are going to be exhausted by period 3.
Crazy game yesterday, while Sweden's game was over early.

Weber would be a scorer in NLA. He already played in NLA as a 23-year-old and had 21 points in 32 games. That was a lockout season as well, so slightly better quality players. We'd have to see that happen as well. I'm not convinced at all that most of the 3rd pair players would be godlike in Europe, they're not scoring players and do not become ones that score in a weaker league.
I think some team will give him a contract for the next season.
They might not score more, but they would possess the puck more, in my opinion with those two forwards.Suter and Hischier are very good players but wouldn't really upgrade that forward group by much. Switzerland has four well balanced forward lines. Not having Sbisa and Weber hurts. I said that before. And, I mentioned that as well, I think they selected the wrong replacements. It's still easily the best Swiss team probably in forever.
They're not going to give up. But it'll become an issue. It was becoming an issue against Canada. They just need some chocolate and cheese. No way they give up this game by fatigue.
They should just keep on shooting from everywhere. Nilsson sucks. He's big but his mobility and skillset are highly questionable. He'll let in a weak one sooner or later.
I stand corrected.I don't think so.
He has a contract in Bern and already said that he's not interested in the NHL.
And I've only seen him play in the NHL where most of his 1st passes are to his D partner (not necessarily a bad thing)Weber would be a scorer in NLA. He already played in NLA as a 23-year-old and had 21 points in 32 games. That was a lockout season as well, so slightly better quality players.
He's not a scorer in Nashville because he gets no minutes or put in the position to score. Mostly because he's weak as ice cream and can't handle the physicality, which contributes to him making bad decisions to move the puck.
But on the flipside it makes for a hell of a trap game when there isn't enough forecheck talent on a team.On a side note, this is why I like the big ice. Teams can enter the offensive zone with possession, if they know what they're doing. That makes for better hockey, period.
He does that because it's the only way he can survive in the NHL. He's not strong enough, especially in the West, to play how he used to play. And I've only seen him play in the NHL where most of his 1st passes are to his D partner (not necessarily a bad thing)
but he contributes nothing to either end of the ice when he's on it, going for the easy pass isn't always the right play and he trusts it way too much. Not all of it is on him though, usually, one of our 3rd pairing D's commit a mistake in every shift, although not all of those mistakes end up being a lost puck. I'm only saying what I've seen so far with him.
This definitely. Of course if my country is already out, I will cheer for the underdogs. No reason to cheer for Sweden against the Swiss, especially when Sweden just won last year already. It would be nice to see the Swiss make the great upset by winning it all!I stand corrected.
Also, some Swedish fan complained Finnish fans are cheering for Switzerland. Like really? Every fan but Swedish fans are cheering for Sweden.
They just need to score the next goal and keep Sweden scoreless. But man. I have the feeling Sweden sadly will win this. There is no way Switzerland will come back after having their lead blown so fast.![]()

About time to abort this game ... and over to the Winnipeg Jets vs Vegas Golden Knights game to see if Patrik Laine can make some wonders out there!
